The Sojourn nails it on every level. It is clean, the facilities are well maintained inside and out, and the staff are very friendly. I parked right next to my door and it was pretty quiet for being inside the LA bubble. There are great local restaurants in walking distance and shopping all around. I was just staying for easy access to an early meeting near by, but can see how perfect this spot is for a budget friendly family or couples trip.

I would rate this property as slightly above average. It’s a cute motel in a good location near the freeway with lots of dining options on Ventura Blvd. The room was clean and it was fairly quiet. The negatives consisted of the smallest shower I’ve ever been in and although the included breakfast was nice, it was primarily just sugary garbage.

Friendly staff & property was well maintained by the employees. Room was nice & clean. Located walkable distance to shops, bars and restaurants! Only down side I would say is the infrastructure. Around the air conditioning wasn’t sealed and you could see daylight coming in along with the door to the room on the bottom. When I opened up my dressed to grad some clothes I was startled by 2 roaches in the bedside table and under the TV. Had to remove all my belongings in the middle of the night and take them to my car because I didn’t want to bring any home with me.

No closet and therefore no hangers. No countertop around the hand sink, where are we supposed to put my toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.? Dialed 0 for the front desk as instructed but no one picked up. Had to walk to the office and speak in person!

Room 128 is clean and nice size t.v. but the street and parking lot noise is awful. Also, bathroom is small, no cups for water and no full-length mirror. I wouldn't stay here again because of the noise level from the street.

For the price, not a great place for a family to stay. Especially if you have to get ready for an event. Zero counter space in the bathroom zero mirrors besides small one over the sink. Room was muggy, but the AC was so loud you had to deal with muggy or loud. Tv didn’t work. Thought the staff was very nice and accommodating would not stay here again.
