A++ from start to finish
From booking, to location, to access the property, cleanliness, communication, amenities, everything is top notch. Monica (our host) is extremelly responsive and accomodating. The amount of effort and personal touch she placed in her property, is beyond anything I have experienced anywhere else. You can really call her home, your home (for the duration of your stay 😁). Roomy house, with absolutely every amenity (you literraly need your clothes and food and that is it). I would love to come back again in the summer and I highly recommend her home to a family, or just friends who are looking for a getaway from a busy city life. As I said in the title, A++.

Perfect Weekend on the Water
This has been one our favorite VRBO stays only a few hours away from our home and Monica was wonderful to work with. Her home is perfectly decorated to feel like you are at the beach with incredible water views and everything you might possibly need to be entertained for the weekend. We brought our dog, Seymour, and it was a perfect place for him with all the accommodations to love the water and the backyard! We grilled, took advantage of all the kitchen necessities, enjoyed the front sitting room, deck, outdoor fire pit area and the downstairs screened-in game room, especially on Saturday when it rained. We absolutely plan to come back!

Bayside dream cottage
We just spent a wonderful two nights at this property. The house was clean, welcoming, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Unfortunately our visit was not for vacation purposes but the cottage did not disappoint. We woke up early each morning to view the beautiful sunrise over the bay as we enjoyed our coffee. We hope to return on a happier occasion.

Great Getaway
Our stay at this location was short but very sweet. This property has everything and then some. The owner has beautifully decorated the cottage & it provides many amenities. Could not match the sunsets and sunrise. Only draw back was that the mosquitos were very bad one evening & we had to retreat inside. Would highly recommend this property!!

Wonderful spot to relax.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with us. The location is very nice. I love the sunroom, it is the perfect reading room and with the windows open, the only sound is the lapping of the water against the rocks. We had cloudy, rainy weather but I’m not a fan of the heat so it was lovely for me. Though we did catch and release, we caught red drum, eel, and blue crab. The layout of the house is awesome, especially during the rain and wind. A lot of games available if you’re inclined and the screened-in porch is great for summer. I’m thinking coming back in the warmer months would be nice since the area is large enough, with so much to do and with the porch space, I never have to leave the house. The neighbors are quiet, though this may have been due to the time of year and our trip was during the week. The kitchen had everything we needed. I’m so used to having to bring all my kitchen towels and mitts because other homes I’ve stayed in only leave one for a whole week, but this house had several so your not having to do laundry constantly. I would and hopefully will stay here again. Thank you!

A perfect getaway…
The place is cute and very clean. Very nice view to enjoy when you wake up. My kids enjoy fishing. Love the firepit enjoyed it on a cooler night. Overall its a great stay. We should have stay there for 2 more days. We did not use the basement/ first floor yet. My wife wanted to book again this xoming summer.

Tranquil and beautiful
Everything was great, beautiful view, nice a/c, great games, toys, games, kayaks and private pier and dock. Kids swam and jumped off the pier, caught many fish, and crabs. Saw many birds, dolphins, stingrays. Nice fire pit. Bad mosquitos and kids did get some jellyfish stings but these were the only cons.

Beautiful Scenery, Comfy Bedrooms!
What a beautiful place! The scenery is amazing! The water-views are spectacular!!! The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable!! The place was very nice and well decorated/taken care of. It was a super quiet neighborhood, which we loved! The house, itself, has SO much to offer... everything from boardgames to game room fun. The bedding was very clean and smelled great! The host was AMAZING and very accommodating and communicative. We saw several bald eagles, lots of osprey, and a few herons. This place is the perfect place to get away, relax, and enjoy time with family or friends. We would love to stay here again!

Relaxing experience in Lottsburg
We met up with some family members at this house and had a really good time. The house is very clean and offers a beautiful view of the Chesapeake. Despite poor weather conditions for much of our stay, we still had fun. The whole family enjoyed the ping pong table and just hanging out in the screened porch while it rained, and when it wasn’t raining we enjoyed fishing on the private pier. It’s a great location for relaxing with friends and family.

From the moment we walked in and saw the amazing view of the water we immediately felt relaxed. The flow of the home is perfect, no matter where you are you are all together as a family. If you need your own space there is the room downstairs and the wonderful screened in porch. I loved that everything you need to enjoy yourself is there. Games, yard, fire pit, pier and the water! I highly recommend this beautiful cottage.

Paradise in Lottsburg
The Ruppert’s have thought of every detail for your stay. It is truly a magical little place with lots to do rain or shine. The sunrises from the porch are absolutely gorgeous. We managed to catch a stingray the first day there! It was a great experience. Highly recommend!

Weekend on the Potomac
This is an amazing property! The house is lovely, beautifully decorated and well appointed. It has all you need for your stay. While we were there, the weather was really bad - very windy and rainy - but we did not mind as there were so many other things to do! We played darts, games, putted golf balls, and did puzzles! We had one day during our stay in which the sun came out and we were able to play corn hole and we went fishing (didn't catch anything - the water was too choppy). This is a great property and we plan to stay here again. If you book this property, make sure to go into Lottsburg and Heathsville and explore the towns. And make sure to eat at Cygnets - GREAT food and the building was the original post office and general store for Lottsburg!

This place is a total hidden jam! Two families (4 adults, 2 kids, and one small dog) stayed very comfortably. So many outdoor activities, right by the water, and being dog friendly was a plus! We will be returning!

BEAUTIFUL SUNRISES ON THE BEACH!
The house is super clean and it has a beautiful backyard, well stocked with towells, umbrellas and beach toys. Very quiet spot in a beautiful green area of Northern Neck, VA. We shall return!
