"Very limited parking We managed to get a spot in the tiny parking lot and were told upon checkout the charge would be $25 for parking This should have been disclosed on check in On both check in and check out we had to wait for the desk attendant to return to the front desk as they had stepped away"

"Room had beautiful view of Winnipeg forks. A amazing location with lots of entertainment. Hotel breakfast was delicious. Restaurant server was very accommodating and friendly. Front desk staff not very welcoming did a good job of check in but could have been more welcoming to guests upon arrival. I would recommend this hotel."

"I've stayed here many times over the years but the last 2 times especially the last time my room was in what had to be an original unrenovated portion of that hotel. Room was very dated and dingy and the smell was horrendous to the point my clothing smelled like sewage the next day"

" Was great stay the room was clean and staff were very polite and helpful our jet tube in our room broke down the staff immediately switched our room to different room that had the same tube we were moved within maybe 5 minutes the breakfast wasn’t the greatest but wasn’t bad they could often more but that’s more personal opinion was grateful that I didn’t have look for something to eat in the morning security was out at night to make you feel safe around the building overall was great stay"

"The front dest staff were fantastic! Very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I got. Room with a bathtub and it was nice and deep to soak in after a long day. The only issue is the noise of traffic if you are in a room at the font of the hotel. It’s very loud along Portage St. so bring earplugs."

"Dogs are allowed. That’s a good thing. Good food and service at altos. Good customer service at the front desk checking in. However the room price was higher than we normally pay for that room. Not sure why? And the other thing we didn’t care for was the amount of people smoking cigarettes and pot just outside the entrance doors."

"no business centre the place was dirty complained to front staff on our flooor as hallway needed cleaning. parking you must pay for. you wont get in if you have a truck. constant police sirens downtown beautiful winnipeg.... dont do it its the hood . the window in our room had broken seal and we listened to the wind howl at night. beds were not comfortable. this should be a budget hotel but its not. wont be back"
