A great Riad
Great Riad, very central and fantastic staff. Patrice and Hussan really look after you and happily explain the city to you. They even tolerated my French with a smile! Rooms are very pretty and well sized, always clean. Breakfast was plentiful and extremely tasty. A 2 minute walk to the Kasbar Mosque and 15 minutes to the Centre of the old town, but through the picturesque old streets - great location.

Centrally located riad
Situated in a quiet location a couple of minutes away from the kasbah. Rooms were clean and comfortable but very unsoundproof. Breakfast wasn't great. Wifi works in some of the rooms and communal areas. We had a nice dinner there which we prebooked. Driver service to and from the airport vety efficient

Lovely Riad close to the square.
This is a warm and friendly Riad, close to the square and once located, easy to travel to and from. Our hosts were kind, friendly and very helpful. We booked a standard room which was a mistake. It's small (though we made it work). I would suggest an upgrade on room size (it's not much more) but all else was lovely. On a morning when we required an early breakfast for travels we were accommodated. Miss that fresh squeezed orange juice! Thanks to all who made our stay so lovely. I also recommend enjoying a Hamman. It was a welcome cleanize after the trip to the desert.

Amazing time at the Riad, would definitely return!
This was mine and my 3 female friends first time visiting Marrakech and we did a lot of research. Prior to the visit I emailed Florence, the manager who always replied to me really quickly with any queries I had. Florence arranged our airport transfers, excursions and even our lunch for arrival prior to us getting there. When we arrived we were served tea and biscuits and given a lot of information such as: Where to eat (in price order,) wifi password, map of Medina, key places to visit, cost of taxis and what not to do so we were fully prepared. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and could not to enough for us. They printed off our boarding passes, booked tables in restaurants and ordered taxis for us. Someone was there 24/7 to help. The Riad was so peaceful and chilled which was nice after a day in the crazy city of Marrakech. Breakfast was an unlimited buffet of breads, toast, pancakes, spreads, cereals, fruits, coffee, tea and fruit juices. The views from the roof terrace were great and the location was perfect. We were walking distance to the main square, souks, markets stalls, Saadian tombs, Bahia palace as well as close to the outside of the Medina where we visited the famous La Mamounia hotel and Comptior Darna restaurant. The rooms and the hotel were clean and comfortable and the Riad gave the perfect Moroccan experience!

Perfect Location
As with all Riad sounds made outside your room will echo around. So it is good that the location seems to attract more experienced travelers and people working in the city. Anything you need can be provided by the staff as they have seen it all before and nothing can happen that can't be sorted. So as it is spotlessly clean, warm, friendly and in a handy place, that about covers it.

Miserable manager super place friendly local staff
Good Hotel. Miserable Lady in charge and not friendly. Breakfast boy very helpful and good personality too. The girls cleaning the rooms were really super and worth every penny. The area is magical.

This is definitely not 5*. The room itself was basic and the general experience was odd and not that of a normal hotel. Having our keys taken from us whenever we left the hotel at night was very strange as was the extortionate prices for services such as camel riding. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.

Thank you for your comment. It is unfortunately difficult to me to answer it correctly seen that it is anonymous. Therefore, I cannot know in which room you were. As regards the fact of leaving keys with the reception, I do not understand that it disturbed you because it is a usual practice in the hotel establishments. On one hand it avoids losing them and on the other hand it allows the staff of the housework to know if you are in your room and not to disturb you. You found the exaggerated prices of the service, you have to know that they are of quality. You quote the camel ride: the driver picks you up directly in the riad and does not make an appointment with you in an any place, you have the choice of the schedule. I regret that you have not enjoyed your stay with us.

Excellent location, fantastic staff!
I stayed in Riad Ksar Saad for my 7th visit to Marrakech. I have traditionally stayed in hotels in Marrakech, but decided that this time I would try a Riad, and I was not disappointed. The Riad is in the Kasbah area of Marrakech and is a short walk from the Jemaa el Fna. The route is very easy too, so don't worry you won't get lost. The Riad also provides you with a map, that has restaurant recommendations on it too. My friend and I arrived late in the evening, and we were greeted by the lovely Hamsa who checked us in and helped us with our luggage. I cannot praise Hamsa enough. He works so hard, always has a smile on his face, and is always happy to help you with whatever you need. Our rooms were lovely with a nice bathroom, comfortable bed and most importantly air conditioning. It was well over 40 degrees during our week there, so the air con was very much needed. I have seen reviews where people have complained that their is no TV in the room. Well you don't travel all the way to such an amazing place to watch TV. I actually found it really nice that the temptation wasn't there anyway. I spent a couple hours every afternoon on the rooftop, soaking up the sun and taking in the amazing calls to prayers for Ramadan that ring around the city. The breakfast was small in terms of choice, but there was plenty to eat and for the price we paid for a week in the Riad, I was surprised to have breakfast included. We had an absolute bargain! I would definitely stay here again!

Difficult to find location with weird room design
The hotels 12 room is badly designed. The bathrooms can not be used. Right at the entrance of the room without a place to put the shower head. The water splashes all over and there is a major danger of slipping after a shower of you can ever accomplish to wash yourself. The internet does not work at all on the rooms and spotty at the entrance. They do serve jam and butter in the morning if you like that as a breakfast. They charged us 27 euros for 2 towels that just got couple henna spots which can be easily washed. Stayed April 2016

You chose a room with a bath.It is true that it is more difficult to take a shower without getting water on the floor. There are anyway 2 bath mats in the bathroom to avoid sliding on the wet ground. We indeed serve butter and jam for breakfast but with fresh bread, toast, cake, Moroccan pancakes, homemade yogurt, corn flakes, chocolate cereal, fresh squeezed orange juice, hot drinks and on request omelette nature or with cheese. Regarding clothes stained by henna, I remind you that in addition to two small towels, there was also the bath towel and the 2 bath mats. I suggested you to take them, because for my part I know that it is impossible to remove of the henna on the white linen and that they were intended for the trash can. Small posters informing billing the linen stained by henna are displayed at the entrance, reception and in each room to avoid any problems.

Diamond in the rough
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Riad. They arranged for a driver to pick me up from the airport. He drove me to Rue de la Kasbah and then we had to get out and walk because the car couldn't possibly get up Derb Sbaia. Derb means alleyway. So at first the Riad seems really secluded and tough to find but if you pay attention, it's actually quite simple. My room was very nice and had an air conditioning unit with a remote control so I could regulate the temperature. The staff are very helpful and friendly. You need to leave your room key when you leave but there is always someone available to let you in. Just press the bell and they will see you on the camera and buzz you through. You have to order your meals in advance but it is worth it. The food is excellent. This was my first solo trip and I was well looked after. I would happily stay here again.

I booked this Riad as a chance to take in the culture in Marrakech. I read that breakfast and in-room WIFI was available so I booked this for our weekend trip. We arrived late, but arranged car service with the Riad which was a BIG help. We didn't have to worry about navigating the dark streets to the Riad on our own. The place isn't hard to find once you've been there, but the first night it was very late, there were many people out and the streets are a bit dark. The driver was quite helpful! Starving, the overnight manager was nice enough walk us back to the main street to get food which was appreciated. The room we initially booked did not have Wi-fi access in the room so we requested a switch. There was no access in the second room either-but no use in continuing to complain. Wifi is available in the common areas, but if you need a good connection and prefer not to have to sit in the lobby- then I wouldn't recommend this place. Breakfast was served daily but very, very limited. For us it was a morning snack before venturing out to get a full meal. The room itself was clean. The shower had a very slow drain so before you are done showering you are up to your ankles or above in water- not good for germaphobes :) The staff was pleasant however. Overall the stay was fine-not 5-star as expected but not the worst.

Great view into the toilet...
Our room was very strange. You enter through the bathroom. Then, there is a mirrored closet in the bathroom and clear glass in the door to the bedroom, so basically if you are sitting on the toilet, whoever is in the bedroom can see you. Extremely awkward. There also was a big spider in the bathroom. There is currently a lot of construction in the area, so the street is very torn up. When we arrived, the manager was with other guests and just left us sitting and waiting, rather than at least getting us started on paperwork, which would have been more efficient and saved us time. I would not recommend staying here. The best part was the accommodations that were made for a private driver to take us to the airport early in the morning.

Indeed upon your arrival, other hosts needed my services so while you filled in the police form, I took the opportunity to answer to their questions to satisfy everybody. Regarding your room: actually you enter through the bathroom. This may seem strange but as it overlooks the stairs it helps isolate from noise. I assure you it is not possible to see you in the bathroom because the door glass is iced-up so opaque glass. I do a control room before the arrival of my hosts and I am sorry that a spider be come after my passage.

Most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at
The hotel is tucked away in the kasbah/medina area of Marrakech, (so a brilliant location for shopping and sight seeing) - close to the square, palace, tombs, and famous Yves Saint Laurent gardens! Inside the Riad, it's beautifully tiled and furnished, with a spa, Turkish bath, sauna, and the option of free breakfast. The staff were also very polite and helped us out with sorting drivers, dinner, day trips and directions. Having been to a variety of hotels before, I haven't found staff as helpful as at the Riad- definitly a lovely place to stay for a week or two!

A riad located on the outskirts of the main square, be prepared to walk to and from the square via small riad, semi lit streets. The room we were in was very basic, the shower was the biggest problem as water stagnated and did not go into the drain. Bedlinen were not changed daily. Breakfast was very basic although staff were were flexible in this regard.

Comfortable, traditional riad.
Very comfortable stay here for several days. Staff very helpful especially night porter and breakfast manager, Hamza and manager, Florence. Breakfast excellent, with a good choice of fruit, yogurts, breads, toast and preserves, fruit juice, tea and coffee. meal pre booked for arrival was also good. Great roof terrace with views over the city and the storks nesting (good at dusk).

Early days for a promising new Riad
Newly opened Riad, hence not many reviews yet. Immaculately clean with quality furnishings. Not a lot of choice for food and drinks and although wine and beer are available these are not advertised anywhere. Quite a walk from the square, however nice and quiet at night.

Nice hotel but far from main touristic streets
Very nice hotel, good breakfast, situated in Medina but not very close to main touristic street, need to walk 15 to 20 min to get there, very hard to find, even taxi driver had the difficulty, there is no indications on the street for this hotel (when all others have), and no car can pass there, you need to find the door with the street and number. The door is always close, need to ring the bell for answer :)

Thank you for your review. Indeed it is not always easy to find the way in the medina. That's why we propose a transfer deprived since the airport. The driver will accompany you jusquà our door and can help you with suitcases. The door is closed because we do not wish that people from the outside come to disrupt the tranquillity of our hosts and for a question of safety. A video intercom allows to open it as soon as you ring the bell.

Great hotel and wonderful staff.
We absolutely loved Marrakech and fell in love with the people. The hotel was wonderful and comfortable. The staff wet above and beyond for us. The airline lost our bags and Patricia the manager didn't stop calling number after number until we got information. I don't think I would have found my bag without her help. The other man was also very kind. The hotel had many little market shops all around. We loved staying there.

Nice hotel close to the markets and mosques
The hotel surrounding area was a bit disappointing but once inside we were surprised by the beautifully decorated interior. The terrace where we had our delicious breakfast every morning was great. Our rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and polite. Patricia and Hamzah were helpful and we were so grateful for all their advise. The only problem we experienced was the cold showers we had every morning. As this was our first visit to Morrocco lasting 5 days we didn't have enough time to try out the hotel spa or the meals. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this very reasonably priced hotel to friends and family.

Riad very convenient
The Riad is conveniently located in the Medina but close to the outskirt so it is easy to access and quickly go outside of the Medina. It is also located near the Royal Palace so security is high and for a group of 4 women, we enjoyed being able to come back late in the evening. Facilities are very nice. The reason I did not give an excellent rating for the room is that the shower was slow to drain and the toilet top broken but the hotel management was to call someone (we left the day we told them). They also arranged for a driver to pick us up at airport and bring us to the door of the Riad. That was nice. I would return and recomment this Riad.

Nice Riad in a nice quiet location
We just returned from a stay at ksar saad, the property was clean, quiet and well decorated. We were overall quite happy with our stay. We paid a fair price for the service we received. The breakfast was basic and ideally we would have liked more variety. The pool was more for decor than purpose. We booked the property and were sold on the spa but unfortunately they had no staff to run it and the one day we booked to use it had our appointment was cancelled 10 miniutes before the treatment. If you are looking for a five star experience there is defiantly more to it than simply calling it 5 star accommodation. To summerise it was great value for what we paid and the riad was clean and presentable. The gentleman working there was also very attentive and friendly and great at pouring tea from heights that still make me smile.

I thank you for your comment. We regret that your stay did not take place in the desired conditions, what is important for us. We take into account your comments about breakfast, your perspective is important. Regarding the spa, unfortunately we had a technical problem with the boiler of the steam room. Given the late hour of care, it was not possible for us to have a technician in a row. The hammam was not hot enough to ensure the care in the best conditions, that is why we preferred to cancel. To compensate, we proposed a sauna instead but that did not suit you, to our regret. Now the steam room works perfectly. Florence, Patricia and all Ksar Saad staff.

- wir ließen uns vom Flughafen abholen, trotz fast 2 Stunden Verspätung war der freundliche Fahrer da und brachte uns bis zum Riad - großes Badezimmer mit Dusche - sauberes großes Zimmer, gute Bettwäsche

Kein Riad & kein Spa
Wir hatten uns ein Riad erwartet und keine Frühstückspension. Wir hatten uns ein Spa erwartet und keine improvisierte Dampfsauna und Sauna, für die man extra bezahlen muss. Das sogenannte Spa befindet sich in einem etwas modrigen Keller auf ca. 40m². Wir hatten uns eine Hammad-Reinigungsmassage erwartet, doch wir mussten uns teils selbst eincremen - wir wurden wenigstens abgeschrubt im kalten Vorraum und nicht wie gewohnt im Hammam. Hammamraum ist eine improvisierte Dampfsauna 2x3m - Platz für 2 Personen. Die Ganzkörpermassage war ganz ok, doch leider auf einer harten Liege und nicht auf einen Massageliege Eine beschriebene Hotelinfrastruktur von Bar oder Restaurant fehlte uvm Einzig sehr positiv zu erwähnen, die Mitarbeiter und die Sauberkeit. Speziell hervorzugeben der Assistent Manager namens Houssine. Der Manager selbst wirkte zwar nett aber gestresst und der Eigentümer sieht keine Gäste. Wir würden dieses Haus nicht empfehlen. Wenn die Beschreibung stimmen würde, wäre einiges mehr ok, doch fühlten wir uns mit der fälschlichen Bezeichnung Riad & Spa als Kunde hintergangen. Die Frankfurter Tabelle anzustrengen ist uns aber zu mühsam. Schade Expedia....

Hotel très accès business
C'est la deuxième que mon épouse et moi-même venons à Marrakech. La première fois nous étions dans un autre Riad au même prix où nous ressentons la culture marocaine. (service de bagage, le bienvenu avec thé à la menthe avec pâtisserie marocaine, le petit déjeuner 100% marocain service à table, conseil astuces etc). Ici au Riad Ksar Saad, nous avons plutôt ressenti le commerce du gentil gérant pour faire plus de sous. l'accueil dans la patio avec d'autres personnes qui dîner, thé à la menthe sans pâtisserie, direction chambre sans service ou aide pour porter les bagages vers la chambre au niveau 1. Nous avons dîné avec une entrée/plat pour moi, et entrée/dessert pour mon épouse. Repas ok sans conviction. Le gérant nous a arnaqué de 45 dirham sur ce dîner. car formule entrée/plat =165 dhs (ok) mais il a préféré nous compter l'entrée/dessert de mon épouse à 165 dhs au lieu de 120 dhs à la carte. Je lui ai dit que c'est bizarre la formule de 165 dhs au lieu de 120 dhs. "il a répondu ça revient au même". Pour parler du petit déjeuner, c'est un buffet très limité (thé de la marque carrefour...). En comparaison, de l'autre Riad, nous avions au petit déjeuner des pains, gâteaux fait maison matin, yaourt avec touche de fleur d'oranger (top). Pour le diner, on avait pris deux coucous, c'était en petite quantité comparé à l'autre Riad. (la semoule en petite quantité colée au fond.. Pour nous, nous n'allons pas le recommander.

Très beau riad!
Riad très propre, personnel très accueillant, à l'écoute du client et bon conseillé. Le Riad sent toujours bon, les chambres sont faites tous les jours et le petit déjeuner est un buffet très copieux avec un choix très variable et délicieux! Situé dans une petite ruelle à 10min à pieds de la place Jamaa el Fna. Je le recommande à tous! Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir avec les enfants ( inch'allah).

快適なリヤド
きれいなステンドグラスで飾られたゴージャスなリヤド。遅く到着したにもかかわらず，快く迎え入れて下さった。早朝発だったが，時間外でも朝食を用意して下さった。次はゆっくり滞在してハマムやマッサージも体験したい。

Consigliato a chi viaggia senza pregiudizi!
Soggiorno di coppia di tre notti. Riad molto bello e ben arredato. Siamo stati molto bene! Ottima colazione e personale gentile e disponibile. Non fatevi spaventare dalla posizione: la zona è sicura e non si corrono pericoli. Certamente il quartiere è molto povero e gli odori non sono il massimo per chi arriva dall'Italia, però l'hotel è accogliente e pulito e si trova in una posizione comoda per raggiungere facilmente a piedi i più importanti punti d'interesse della città.

Week end in Marrakech
Ottima sistemazione. All'interno della kasba, a pochi metri dalle Tombe saudite. Piazza Jamal El Fna si raggiunge facilmente a piedi. Riad molto pulito. Buona anche la colazione, nel periodo in cui ho soggiornato io, servita in terrazza.

Esperienza unica nel cuore della Kasbah
Il Riad Ksar Saad è perfetto per chi vuol vivere un'esperienza indimenticabile nel cuore della Kasbah! La struttura è molto bella, finemente arredata e ha una stupenda terrazza dalla quale ammirare il paesaggio circostante. A pochi passi da "La Place" centro pulsante della città. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Vivamente consigliato.

Grazioso Riad a due passi dalle Tombe dei Sauditi
Questo riad è stata una vera sorpresa. posizionato all'interno della kasba, in una zona centralissima che permette di raggiungere a piedi tutti i maggiori punti di interesse di Marrakech (3 minuti tombe dei Sauditi,15 min piazza Jamâa El-Fna). Personale molto cortese, camere spaziose e pulitissime, servizio impeccabile. L'ottima colazione viene servita tutte le mattine in terrazza. L'unica pecca se dovessi trovarne una è che la nostra camera non aveva finestre perché posizionata al piano terra.

Sono stato in questo Riad per 3 notti e devo dire che mi son trovato molto bene, camera piccola ma pulita, personale molto simpatico e sempre pronto a rispondere a tutte le domande. Possiede anche la spa ma per carenza di tempo non ho potuto provarla. In pieno centro a soli 10 minuti dalla piazza principale

Riad au cœur de la Medina
Malgré une arrivée tardive à 23h à l'aéroport pour cause de retard de vol( 1h30)et une attente au passeport( 1h30) un taxi dépêché par la direction du Riad nous attendais à la sortie de l'aéroport. Un thé à la menthe nous attendait accompagné de pâtisseries Marocaines. Les chambres suffisamment grandes avec sdb, dans un décor typique .Au petit matin , Florence et son personnel nous accueillent avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et répond à toutes nos questions avec beaucoup de gentillesse, fidèle à la tradition Marocaine. Petit déjeuner copieux .Situation du Riad exceptionnelle, proche des tombeaux Saadiens, de la mosquée et des taxis, place Jemaa el Fna à 10 mn à pied. Nous sommes là au cœur de la ville. A deux minutes en sortant du Riad, le Kasba Café ou l'on mange , couscous, tajines et autres plats typiques, ou nous sommes les biens venus. J'étais avec mon épouse et mes deux petits enfants et nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour à Marrakech et au Riad Ksar Saad. Merci encore à Florence pour sa disponibilité et son accueil.
