Great Location But Tired And Needs Work
The hotel was very tired and needs updating quite desperately. There was damage to one wall in our room, the 'king' bed was just two singles pushed together and the bathroom was looking dated. One especially disappointing thing was when our room was cleaned only one towel was replaced, the bed wasn't made properly and the shower gel wasn't topped up so we ran out. Pool area was really nice but the bar was never staffed/open which was a shame. Great location to be honest and the reception staff were really great. Organised us a taxi to the train station which ended up cheaper than Uber. We did pay good money for this hotel so it is disappointing overall unfortunately.

Overall our stay was good but here are the highs and lows. Lows: our access cards stopped working daily and it was very frustrating having to go to reception to put right. No one seemed to know how long we were staying. It happened 6 times. The maid came into our room every day without knocking. On occasions it was embarrassing if you understand me. The reception didn’t know anything about boat trips which I would say is usually the advantage of staying in a hotel vs air bnb. You get lots of guidance and suggestions of what to do. Our room wasn’t ready and we had to be moved. Even though we got there at 12 it was still not ready at 3pm. And new room smelled stale like cigarettes when we arrived. The pool area is lovely although the bar wasn’t staffed 95% of the time and when it was the prices were ridiculous. The buffet which was free was good and set us up for the day.

The Radison Blu is an excellent, modern upscale facility in the Old Port area. I would recommend it for sure. (I did tell them that the shower floor in my room was very slippery. That needs to be addressed.)

Front desk staff was outstanding. Room cleaning staff did a great job. Bemreakfast was fabulous. The only issue we had was with the evening manager of the restaurant. He rudely refused to seat us for dinner when 80 percent of the tables were empty.

I wasn’t offered anything for being a VIP thru Expedia. I had to ask about the drink offer and staff wasn’t willing initially to credit us until I asked for this at checkout. Very dissatisfied with lack of service.

We enjoyed our stay but thought the hotel needed some updating. Some veneer strips on cabinets were coming away from the walls; carpets needed cleaning but otherwise a nice visit.

Never Ever Again. Not Even Once.
The hotel was dirty. The room smelled terrible. The bed felt messy. The shower was awful. The food was disgusting, The service was poor. It was the worst experience i've ever had. Worst part is we got robbed on the first night of our stay. The Hotel told us to park right next door at the Parking Indigo and assured us that the parking was safe. But despite the cameras, there was no security. They busted the window of our car and took all of the stuff we had in the back trunk despite it being hidden from view. If you want to waste your time and money in Hell, this is the Hotel for you. It isn't worth a single night's stay. It doesn't deserve the rating it has. Nothing but lies. Don't let Lobbey fool you into thinking that the rooms are anywhere near as nice. The rats of the city feel more comfortable than you could ever feel in any of those rooms. And yes i'm actually talking about the literal rats that
