Nice hotel - beach front locationPosted Oct 6, 2015
I stayed with 3 other adults, the room was a suite with two double beds and a sofa bed. Great balcony and mini kitchen. The bathroom was also large Hotel staff were extremely friendly and would go out of thei way to help. Loved aloha Friday by the pool fantastic atmosphere The only complaint I have is that there is not enough shade around the pool, also the room was only services once a week, not a big deal really

overall great, just one small issuePosted Oct 2, 2015
When we first checked in, our room had an awful smell which was even worse in the bedroom. After some investigating, we found mold along the window valance and on both of the AC vents. I am highly allergic-my eyes were swollen and blood red just from being in the room a couple hours. We went down to the front desk and were immediately moved to a new room. The staff was courteous the entire time. The amenities are great as well. We didn't discover the activity center until Monday. We weren't informed of it at check in. It would have been great to know for the evenings or during the bad weather on Sunday. All in all, we enjoyed the property and our time there.

Nice hotel in Lahaina areaPosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Stop the pushing to get people to sign up for a tour before people have a chance to get to their rooms. Let them settle in!
Ka'anapali Beach Club is nice. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though there is construction being done, we didn't hear much noise. This hotel isn't close to the main dining and shopping areas. One thing that was most frustrating was being approached by Concierge people wanting to sign us up for a tour of the property before we even went to our room. Yes, we received compensation but that doesn't excuse how quickly we were approached. There is also an "Activities Orientation" one morning. You receive a coupon for free buffet breakfast after attending the orientation. Overall a decent place, but beware the push to purchase a share.

Wonderful Relaxing Oceanview Room StayPosted Sep 17, 2015
We went for 3 nights and totally had a great time. Food at the pool bar was great, staff great. Housekeeping came immediately to replace A/C filter and add a topper to our bed. Changed out our towels when asked. Great amenities in room too!! Pool was fantastic! We will return!

Old Hotel In Need of Renovation - Great LocationPosted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Location and Pool
Cons: The building is obviously very old and construction has been in process for a very long time with little results. Room had a very distinct musty odor.
Location: Good shopping nearby Close to Napili and Kapalua and great restaurants
Pool was great, building is old and in need of updating. From what we understand construction has been in process for a very long time with little results. Hotel lobby was closed off and check in had to take place at a side desk. Staff was very friendly, especially the valets. Good shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel food options were limited and very over-priced. Suggest eating off grounds.

Very close to beachPosted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: Easily accessible
Cons: Still somewhat outdated.
Location: Great location!
Overall, good experience. Ka'anapali Beach Club is currently undergoing renovations that were annoying at times. Rooms have been upgraded; however, carpeting on floors is old and should be replaced with new carpet or tiles.
