Best hotel on kanapali beachPosted Oct 13, 2015
This hotel was amazing except for the poor wifi. This hotel kept up the true Hawaiian decor and has the best beach location in the kanapali beach area.

DisappointingPosted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: Not that much
Cons: Lobby staff
Location: Location is ok . Near the Sheraton and black rock. Now that is a hotel. Swam in front of the Sheraton near black rock. Really wonderfull.
Very disappointing hotel. Lobby staff not very friendly. Hotel did not seem full but we were still put on the third floor which is really the first floor overlooking a roof with satellite dishes on it. We were put in a room with 2 beds. The next day I requested a room with one king bed as that is what we booked. So we got transferd to another room on the same floor overlooking the roof. I do not understand why they could not give us a room on a higher floor. It didn't matter to me if it had an ocean view or not but looking at a roof was not very pleasant especially as the island is supposed to be paradise island. Pool very ordinary.

It was ok, it wasn't great.Posted Oct 10, 2015
Pros: The beach cabanas for rent were great.
Cons: The overall representation and look, but I believe they are doing some remodeling.
Location: The location is ok. Not far from Whalers Village, little walk to Duke's.
The lady who checked us in was less than friendly. The first bartender wasn't nice, but the next two were awesome. The room was ok. The lanai was nice. The shower pressure was extreme, painful in sensitive areas even, and very slow to drain. Their was a dead frog in our room - crispy even, it'd been there awhile. The safe didn't work, and even with the do not disturb sign on the door, they still come into your room. In fact they took the sign with them after the first day. That said, we never had an issue with anything missing. The cabanas on the beach were great, but the drinks were way overpriced. The fish tacos were delish!

Fantastic experience!Posted Oct 7, 2015
It was our first time to Maui and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed before venturing out and made sure we knew where we were going. The resort was very clean.

This hotel resort is awesome. The staff was great and accommodating always. The ocean views were beautiful and close to shopping and restaurants. I want to live at this resort! I will definitely come back next year!

Room was nice and roomy. Staff kept the room clean at all times. Management should do something about the peeling paint on the ceiling in the shower.
