Private Villa with pool @ Bolnuevo
We spent 2 weeks at this villa late June / early July 2023 and we loved it. The Villa is very modern, a great layout and super pool area. Our pre-requisite going into the holiday was a Villa with private pool in a quiet location but within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities. Calle Jabeque was it! Right from our first enquiry and throughout our stay - James the owner was very responsive, quick to answer questions and provide all the information we needed to reassure us this was the Villa for us. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in a quiet area, spacious, clean, comfortable and within walking distance of a town this is the property for you. The Villa is located within the neighbourhood of Bolnuevo, which is a friendly place with a good choice of restaurants and local markets. Port Mazarron is a short drive away and is a larger town with more amenities available there. We flew into Alicante airport and the villa is c 1 hours 20 minute drive from there, alternatively Murcia is only 45 minutes away. The roads are very good so it’s pleasant to drive over there. A car would be recommended but not essential. Bolnuevo was quiet the first week we were there but started to come alive more in the second week being the first week of July with festivals and concerts more evident and generally more buzz around.

James Villa
The Villa is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The Pool and the rest of the property was spotless. James communication was second to none and his information and welcome pack was excellent and Tamara from Sparkle greeted us at the Villa with a smile and was very helpful. It’s only a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach and local bars and restaurants from the Villa. The best Pizza in town is Madre Pizza opposite the campsite and is proper Italian. The Colonade cafe 5 mins from Villa is excellent for breakfast and late evening snacks. If you hire a car then trips to the Old Tin mines and Cartagena to see the Roman theatre and castle with its views is a must. The huge supermarket Mercadona is only 5 mins drive and Lidl and Aldi are 10mins away by car. Bottle of Cava in supermarket is only £2 a bottle. The beach bar at far end of beach has the local beverage Latino on draught which is red wine and lemonade with citrus fruit and is devine. The area is very Spanish and unspoilt like Alacanti and Malaga and the people are very friendly.

Modern villa Bolnuevo
It’s a lovely modern apartment, and looks exactly like it does in the photos. It had every convenience, easy to use, easy to keep clean and tidy. It’s in a great location for Bolnuevo. We liked it so much we booked it for the next year

Perfect place for the some self care……
I have been aware and visited this area a number of times over the years and have ALWAYS enjoyed Bolneuvo in particular. The villa was well appointed to a high specification and a had everything that we believe we needed to take advantage of the area and the amazing weather. Would definitely recommend BOTH the area and THIS villa in particular. I would also mention the cleaning team….. great job, place was lovely, ready in time and receptive to feedback. Thank you. Beautiful Villa
From booking the villa to booking out was effortless. The villa has all that you would want to relax. Very clean, bedding perfect. Comfortable sofa, comfortable beds. Kitchen well stocked with all the utensils you would need. Great garden furniture of a high quality. James was very kind and supplied my grand baby with a cot and high chair. 5 min drive is a large supermarket, local Spar within walking distance. The owner James has been fantastic, every message I sent I had a reply within an hour. Clean beach within walking distance, best restaurant within walking distance is Oasis. You definitely need a car if you want to visit the surrounding area. Will definitely visit again. Thank you

Our Christmas stay at Bolnuevo
Starting from the meet and greet, Jan very pleasant and helpful. The Villa did not diasaloint it is outstanding and the voews are amazing. The only thing for me that spoilt the tranquility of peace are the amount of dogs and their barking. You do need a car as there are no bus stops or taxi ranks near by. The Mercadona is only a 5min drive, however, there is a excellent little Spar only 10 mins walk. The Beach is only a 10 min walk too. Would we come here again, definitely!

Bolnuevo a wonderful location
Very nice Villa in a wonderful location. Myself and my family found this an ideal get away and really enjoyed our stay. The facilities were excellent we loved the roof top area and bbq area in the evening time espically. Dealing with James and the property management team was very easy and they provided all the information required to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable from the outset. Myself and my family highly recommend this villa and hopefully we have the opportunity to return next year. Thank you very much James. Pat

Fabulous Villa with beautiful views and peaceful location.
We stayed in this wonderful villa for 7 nights which wasn't long enough in my opinion! We had such a brilliant week. From enquiring about booking to our arrival James the owner was so responsive with messages and really helpful. As was the key holder that greeted us on our arrival. The villa had everything you could possibly need including a washing machine with the kitchen being very well equipped and a large fridge freezer with plenty of room. The villa was immaculate the pictures don't do it justice. The Wi-Fi was brilliant we never had any problems with it and the villa also has Apple TV so we could use our Netflix account which was an added bonus. There was a Bluetooth speaker in one of the rooms which we used but we couldn't work out how to recharge it. Outside is just as beautiful, spacious with so much furniture to sit on around the outside areas. We loved watching the sun come up as we ate breakfast outside on the raised patio area which overlooked the lovely pool. There were 4 loungers to sunbathe on and some comfy seating. The outside shower was lovely and warm which was brilliant especially for our toddler so he could get showered before and after the pool. The pool was super clean and so warm I miss swimming in it every afternoon. There is also a huge roof terrace with a BBQ . The villa is in a great location - walk able to a huge beach (it is lovely but not much shade) and restaurants. There's an amazing ice cream place you must try out, can't remember the name but it's really good! You can also catch a little train which is 3€ return each from the campsite which is located at the bottom of the hill towards the beach to the right. The train starts at 6pm and takes you into the port our toddler loved that. The port is quiet in the day but comes alive at night and has lots going on with some great restaurants by the marina. You do need a car here - we flew into Alicante airport and it was a really easy drive of 1.5hrs to the villa. There are some amazing beaches not far away in the car and lots of supermarkets to choose from. There's an information pack in the villa with helpful maps and lots of info and tips - the train needs adding into that if possible. As you can tell from this review we loved it, we like to go somewhere different every year but if I could have two holidays I'd come here for one of them! Only minor niggle was paying 25€ for a travel cot and we couldn't locate a highchair in the villa but apart from that perfect!

A beautiful modern villa , great location, with lovely views - six of us stayed for just over a week and found it a great place to stay - enough outdoor space with BBQ , and lovely pool area - villa has all the things you need and would definitely recommend

Villa und Umgebung war okay!
Uns is aufgefallen das die Villa von innen ein Bedarf an Renovierungsarbeiten benötigt! Es war vieles im argen! Habe eine Liste geschrieben für den Besitzer oder die Agentur! Vieles war ein Witz, vom Staubsauger bis reinigungsutensilien! Dreckige Küche und Badezimmer mit Schimmel in der Dusche! Die essstühle kann man wegschmeißen, die Bekleidung löst sich auf! Das Sofa schmierig und unsauber zwischen den Kissen! Die dusthaube dreckig und kaputt, Beleuchtung war kaputt, habe neue lampen gekauft sowie ein Besen Handfeger und Wischer! Die vorhandene feger und Wischer war alt und dreckig! Die Waschmaschine fällt auseinander von Rost! Keine Beschreibung für die Kaffeemaschine! Das Geschirr wurde ich meinen argsten Feind nicht vorsetzen, die Teller sahen furchtbar aus! Der Pool war nicht beheizt obwohl wir Wochen vorher gebucht haben! Die schlüsselfrau war ruckzuck weg! Die Betten hat sie erst bezogen wie wir da waren! Ein Hohn! Nächsten Tag haben wir das alles erst richtig gesehen, an dem anreisetag waren wir todmüde! Keine Wäscheklammern! Ich habe alles besorgt, der nächste Gast kann sich freuen, wir haben alles dagelassen aber ich habe mich geschämt für meine Freunde! So ein schönes Haus müss man immer in stand halten und immer mal wieder was erneuern! Und Sauberkeit is Voraussetzung! Wollte mein Urlaub trotzdem genießen und das Wetter spielte mit!

Es tut mir leid, von Ihren Problemen zu hören, auf denen Sie die Villa überprüft haben. Ich habe mit dem Agenten gesprochen, der ihm mitteilte, dass ihm nichts gemeldet wurde, außer dass Sie Hilfe bei der Verwendung des Fernsehers wollten, worüber ich Sie direkt kontaktierte. Ich habe Sie auch nach ein paar Tagen Ihres Urlaubs kontaktiert und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, und Sie haben überhaupt keine Probleme erwähnt. Ich habe Sie auch in der letzten Woche Ihres Urlaubs kontaktiert, um zu überprüfen, wie der Urlaub war, wieder keine Antwort oder irgendein Kommentar. Nur um klar zu sein, der Pool ist nicht beheizt, wird nicht als beheizt beworben und wird nicht gemäß der Anzeige beheizt. Sauberkeit, die mich sehr verwirrt, da Sie nichts angesprochen haben und wir in den letzten 7 Jahren über 70 Gäste hatten und nie eine Beschwerde über die Reinigung hatten, aber ich werde auch mit dem Agenten sprechen, nur um dies zu melden. Die Esszimmerstühle sind neu, also bin ich mir nicht sicher, was Sie hier damit meinen, dass sie auch weggeworfen werden müssen. Sie sind seit vier Wochen in der Villa und haben zu keinem Zeitpunkt irgendwelche Probleme angesprochen, obwohl Sie im Falle von Problemen einen täglichen Kontakt zum Agenten haben. Die Villa wird jedes Jahr mit großem Aufwand gestrichen und gewartet, und ich werde die Villa nächste Woche besuchen, um den Zustand zu überprüfen, der für die Ferienzeit und neue Gäste bereit ist.

Thanks for your review. The alarm system is disarmed and will only be armed if played with. When you advised it had gone off I contacted you on how to turn it off but you didn’t ever reply? The heated towel rails in the bathroom are turned off as standard, you just need to press the green button to turn them on, if you had contacted us or Replied to our contact then we could have advised you of this. The instructions are also in the villa. I hope you had a nice holiday

Maravillosas vacaciones
Estuvimos 10 días alojados y lo pasamos muy bien. La casa estaba fenomenal, le faltaba algún utensilio para cocinar ya que nos cuidamos muy bien a la hora de comer, no nos conformamos con un plato de pasta. El resto está como en el anuncio, la zona exterior, que es la que más usamos, es perfecta para no tener que salir de casa en los diez días. Nos desplazábamos en coche a la playa por la subida a la casa, si no estaba relativamente cerca, 10 minutos. La comunicación con el propietario ha sido excelente y nos ha proporcionado todo lo que habíamos concretado. Unas vacaciones geniales.

As explained the villa does have CCTV in the grounds, which is part of the armed response securitas alarm system. The cameras are only activated when the alarm is turned on via a security fob. The alarm can not be turned on by guests and is off during the entire holiday guests stay. Therefore the alarm system doesn’t affect guests during their stay as it’s turned off. Also you can slide the shutter over the cctv cameras lense if you wish. CCTV is common and important for any high end Villa to protect the property.
