This hotel seems to have been renovated and it looks very good! I was very comfortable and slept well. The only issue I had was the shower/tub water never got hot. It was lukewarm at best. The hardware was loose so you couldn’t properly select hot water.

Actually was staying at a different hotel in the area but switched to Raddison. It was MUCH cleaner & quieter. Loved the bed, spacious room & A/C worked good. I will be staying here again when I’m in town.

We did find out that there was an issue on a feed line inside the hotel. We were able to get it cleared out and water pressure is back to normal. We apologize for the hassle. But gladly, it has been resolved.

There was a weird odor in the hallway, maybe from the remodel they were doing but it was a nasty mess in the hall.

There was never any hot water for showers or out of the bathroom sink. The thermostat was either too hot or too cold no matter what setting or temp you put it on.

The carpet had a puddle of water from a leak. Soaked all my feet in it in the morning and got sick from that. I took pictures of it. Also had left my Roku device in the room and I never got back the remote for it.

I like the location and the view of McAllen Country Club from north facing rooms. The gym is nice enough and there is a bar. The only real negative is the walls feel a bit thin and make the hallway noise come right through.

The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed here about a dozen times in the past year and it has always been a pleasant stay. Many guests are from Mexico and most of the staff are fluent in Spanish. There is a complementary breakfast buffet that offers a large number of options. In the evening the restaurant and bar offer a variety of entrees, both American and Mexican. Families enjoy the pool and grounds which border on a golf course. The largest shopping mall in McAllen is within walking distance and there are eight or ten family restaurants in and around the mall and several sports bars. The "Old Town" entertainment district of McAllen is about a ten minute drive. The McAllen airport is a mile away and the hotel shuttle takes guests to the airport. It is an ideal hotel for families visiting McAllen.

When I got there, there was kind of issue with the electricity in the building or their system to check people in was down. I couldn't check in so I had to go stay elsewhere.

So sorry. There was a power outage throughout the city and news reported it reached out 2 cities from us. It was completely out of our control. We didn't get back to full power until around 5 am.

The property felt dirty, the rooms are very humid, the beds are extremely uncomfortable, the AC in the room was not working properly. Was my first and last time.

Wow!! Not used to folks saying our beds are uncomfortable. We do not have any reports of AC's not working. In south Texas, that would be completely unacceptable. Sorry for the inconveniences.
