VERY QUIET HALF CHALET IN MEGEVE PLEASE NOTE that there is a 10% discount on all bookings of 7 nights or more. Chalet chez Moi is a cozy, wooden demi-chalet, ideal for a family of four. It is very quiet, comfortable and conveniently located only 100 meters from the slopes of the Rochebrune sector and its lifts and ski school (ESF= Ecole du Ski Française). It is also walking distance (800 meters) from Megève's village pedestrian center and shops. The great advantage of this chalet is that it is composed of only 2 units, one on each floor. There are no noisy neighbours. Furthermore, the apartment has quadruple aspect, very rare to find in Megeve. Chalet chez Moi offers its guests an open, high ceilings, and bright living area facing South/South-West, decorated with taste and opening to a large balcony (10 sqm) with beautiful views of the Haute Savoy’s mountains. The property features two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a family bathroom, and a separate restroom. Despite being relatively small in size, the property offers the comforts and style of bigger mountain chalets at an affordable price. Each single room including the bathrooms has windows offering different views and natural daylight from sunrise to sunset (quadruple aspect). Guests can relax in the living room on a large and comfortable sofa with a chaise longue “meridiènne” at one end and on a cozy leather armchair both offering peaceful panoramas over the mountains and a resting spot in front of a traditional romantic built-in cast iron stove. The living room is also equipped with a large Sony Smart TV (complimentary Netflix access included), a DVD player, French TV channels, an iPod/iPhone bluetooth docking station, and unlimited high speed Wi-Fi. Partly open onto the living room, there is a brand new (2023) and fully equipped kitchen with hobs, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, coffee machine and other useful small appliances. The nice old wood table with contemporary glass chairs is the right corner for family meals accompanied by local French wine. The master bedroom is bright and offers ample built-in storage space. The second bedroom with its wooden bunk bed comfortably sleeps teenagers/adults as well as children. The master bathroom features a bathtub and shower (with crystal enclosure) while a second one offers a WC and hand-wash basin. A large parking place (suitable for 2 cars), a big garden, a private ski locker at the chalet entrance, and a utility room with washing machine in the basement, are part of the property. Snow removal service in the winter is included in the price. Chalet chez Moi is a comfortable, unique property where you can easily enjoy skiing but also relax in a quiet and exclusive environment. You can take fully advantage of the numerous services and tourist attractions and sport facilities offered by Megève. You can park your car here and enjoy a car free stray as everything is reachable by walk in few minutes. Welcome to Chalet chez Moi ! The chalet is large enough for a family with a kid, nice view, comfortable terrace for having breakfast and dinner, perfectly furnished, with a performing wi-fi, well located in the Rochebrune side hill just 10’ walk to downtown, which is convenient to digest the raclette or fondue in one of the tasty restaurants in the village. It is well laid out, super easy to live in, very well equipped and extra clean. We found it nicely decorated with a mix haute-savoie chalet feel and Italian style furniture. Internet works fine as well as all the appliances and kitchen. The space is well used. There is a terrace for the sunny days. There is plenty of parking space in front of the chalet. Overall a really convenient and comfortable experience, incl the booking process and communications with manuele, landlord. Perfect for a family of four and well laid out enough for four adults. This apartment is on the top floor and no one else was in the property whilst we were there so can't comment on noise from other residents. A couple of things maybe to add to the property in case they are needed - batteries (the TV remote didn't work) and possible some basic items like screwdriver, first aid box. About a 10 minute walk into the centre. This property is on an incline so keep that in mind when booking. We found no difficulty with this and it worked off the evening meal on the climb back. Some very strict check out rules considering the one off cleaner cost is 100 euros but maybe that is usual for self catering. Très bien situé : 100 m du télésiège Grands champs , 10 min à pieds du centre. Le chalet est propre et tres bien équipé. Le propriétaire répond rapidement à toutes nos demandes. Hierzu hat zum einen die tolle Lage beigetragen. So ist man nach knapp 100 Meter bereits am Lift, aber auch das Ortszentrum ist nicht allzu weit. Aber auch das Chalet selbst hat uns gut gefallen. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und schön eingerichtet. Schön ist, dass man keine Bettwäsche oder Handtücher mitbringen muss, nachdem man bei einem Skiurlaub ohnehin schon viel Gepäck hat. Die Größe ist für vier Personen absolut ausreichend, nur das zweite Schlafzimmer ist für zwei erwachsene Kinder ein wenig klein. ##### Dirk S. Très bel appartement, très joliment décoré, un vrai petit nid douillet, les photos sont conformes à la réalité. Les équipements sont parfaits et high tech, il y a tout le nécessaire "comme à la maison". L'appartement est proche du centre du village même si la route est rude pour remonter à pieds. Le jardin à l'arrière du chalet est cosy. Les chambres sont calmes et la literie au top. Notre hôte Manuele a été parfaite avant et pendant la réservation, aux petits soins pour nous. Chalet très bien situé aux pieds (100m) des remontées mécaniques "grand champs", proche du centre de Megève, si bien que nous n'avons pas utilisé la voiture de la semaine. Le chalet est très bien décoré et équipé (il ne manque rien), la vue depuis le balcon est très agréable, tout est réuni pour passer d'excellentes vacances. Nous avons apprécié de nous retrouver dans un petit cocon après les journées de ski. Le propriétaire a su répondre rapidement à nos diverses questions, et le chalet est vraiment conforme à l'annonce. L'appartement - attention, il faut monter en haut des escaliers en ouvrant la chaîne barrant l'accès à l'étage - très propre et entretenu, est décoré avec beaucoup de soin, tout en étant parfaitement équipé. Un mélange réussi de modernité et de fantaisie. Certes la chambre à lits superposés est un peu étroite , le balcon donne sur une route, le sèche-serviette ne fonctionne pas l'été et le code wifi n'est pas actualisé sur la notice. Mais la gérante a été joignable à chaque fois que nous avons tenté de la joindre et a répondu à nos attentes du mieux possible. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil attentionné à notre arrivée. Les inconvénients cités n'entament pas l'excellente impression que nous gardons de notre séjour, et nous recommandons l'endroit pour la qualité générale du lieu. ##### Pascale C. Es ist bis ins kleinste Detail perfekt eingerichtet und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Der Vermieter Manuele war sehr zuvor kommend. Des balades à pied à faire depuis le chalet, et un balcon plein soleil pour bouquiner ou prendre un verre tranquillement ! l'appartement est parfaitement équipé comme on peut l'espérer, les draps et serviettes de bain sont de qualité, il y a même Netflix pour les amateurs.
