The rooms are smelly and never vacummed, showers dont have extractor fans and kitchen does not have working rangehood. Reception is never attended and phone calls are not answered as if they are avoiding contact with the guests. Dont stay here if you can avoid.

Cleanliness is shocking, staff needs to chill
Convenient location, well priced and overall the facilities are relatively new, not as bad as some of the horrifying reviews on Google Maps. However, during my stay the cleanliness was shocking, obviously someone has been slack or not getting paid enough to care. Had spider web hanging in my room, and the dust on bed head was quite thick. Half roll of toilet paper left when I checked in. Arrived 30 minutes late and the after hour check in lady needs to chill, made me standing at the car park for 45 minutes before she handed me the keys.

Location & communication are awesome. Cleanliness is hopeless. Previous guests hair everywhere, toilet bowl & sink probably not even wiped, so dirty to the point where you start laughing.

Booked 3 weeks in advance for 4 days for 3 people. Confirmation email received a day before we flew into melbourne reflected the booking for 3 people. When we arrived the very rude manager told us the room only accomodated 2 people but we had paid for 3 people. She was the rudest manager ive ever met and she refused a refund and hung up on us when we called. She shouldnt work as a manager, she is ruining the reputation of the business. Started legal proceedings to recover our refund. Avoid this place. Not worth the effort.

The property was perfectly suited for my work related stay, and the apartment/facilities fantastic for the price. Not sure why the other reviews are so critical, but considering the price point one should not be complaining about slightly outdated decor. I've stayed in much more expensive places locally with far less inclusions. I had no issues with cleanliness and front desk staff were lovely. It was quiet and safe.

Only a sheet on the mattress, black hairs in the bathroom, unable to contact prior to arrival and check in would have been impossible if your phone was flat, missing a cloth and teatowel for the kitchenette, all around the property served a purpose but would not recommend.

My stay was somewhat marred by the fact that i waited 2 hours for my key to be delivered as it was not in the envelope that contained my fob. I was told 35 minutes before someone could get onsite but waited 2 hours with nothing but a "sorry about that". Terrible communication from the hotel. the room was fine.

Access is via a code controlled key safe but they do not send the code on time. There is no person on site, no wifi and bathrooms need renovating. Luggage must be moved a long way to upstair rooms without elevator. Parking fine. Location great. Bed hard. TV tiny. Sofa OK. Many powerpoints. No way to return key when you leave. One nearby property boosts a person at desk and wifi which we would prefer.

Confusing
The room was fantastic. Some paint work in the bathroom wouldn’t go astray but other than that fantastic. HOWEVER, I didn’t see a single staff member once and the only person I did see (a cleaner) she couldn’t help me with how to check out because she worked at “the other hotel”. It appears to be two hotels in one, which is fine but there’s no staff or information. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

This property is centrally placed, not far from Kew Junction. The reception experience left a lot to be desired. I didn't receive an email about the check-in process, and there is very little signage. There is a reception area for the property but it is NOT for Kew Central Apartments! You need to ring the contact number on a sign to be given the code to the safe to access the keys to your room. My room was clean, not too noisy, however it's a little dated and there was a really weird burnt plastic smell that was really obvious every time you walked into the room.

The checkin process was the worst I have ever experienced. Nobody was there and it was not clear how you were supposed to get a key to the room. After I finally figured out there was a key safe and who to call to get a code they could not tell me where the room was or how to get into the building. The room itself was fine but the customer service was appalling. Seems others arriving might have been having similar problems.

A bit strange turning up to a hotel being renovated with no signs anywhere to say we were in the correct place. No reception, no one around. But in saying that found key in box, person helpful on phone. Obviously a huge renovation and only two rooms being used. But still clean, tidy, comfy and you could open the window for fresh air.

We’ve arrived and the room hasn’t been cleaned. There is no reception and the staff couldn’t be contacted. Has contacted the manager for the rend and 3 days passed there is no reply. Definitely won’t come back and this is the worst experience I’ve had. This place is absolutely a joke.

Better on the inside.
Building and surrounds not great as the motel doesn't own it all. Obviously being renovated. The room itself was surprising; comfortable, spotless and well-located. But be aware lots of steps and no elevator. No internet although advertised.

Good spot for a few days close to trams, no reception though picked up a key from locked box with supplied code. Very comfortable and clean and kitchenette was handy.

This property is well equipped, suitably sized, lots of very local facilities and not too far or difficult to get to CBD. It has underground parking, not secure but disguised, easier to get on the tram than pay for parking in CBD. No normal hotel facilities, but Pub, restaurants and cafes up the road in easy reach provide all you really need and probably more cost effectively. I planned to stay for 2 days, added 2 days more and would comfortably return again.
