“Host was very accommodating and responds quickly. The space was clean and modern and quiet at night. Note that if you have anything larger than carry on suitcase, it may not fit up the stairs well. This is a 3rd floor suite so lots of stairs.”

“Es gibt keine kostenlosen Parkplätze, sondern nur öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr sauber. Man bekommt keine Antwort vom Besitzer. Es gibt auch kein 24 Stunden Front Desk. Als wir gebucht hatten, stand sogar noch dabei, dass man die ganze Unterkunft alleine zur Verfügung hat, das stimmt aber nicht, es ist nur ein Zimmer. Die Treppen sind sehr steil.”

“Fantastic stay. I was celebrating with 13 other friends. The house was perfect for us, lovely hot tub and games area, kitchen facilities were well maintained with plenty of fridge space. The rooms were very clean on arrival and just as expected. Geert was very accomodating. Taxis for all of us into Ghent would have been €240 however a 30 min walk to the loc train station saved us a lot of money. ”

“Place was advertised as a whole house with 2 double beds, in the end it was only 1 room with one double bed, a shared livingroom/kitchen and bathroom. But the owners were understanding and gave us a different room as we couldn't sleep in the Same bed. It was clean and the location wasn't loud at all. Stairs were a bit small, but doable. “It was refreshing”

“Checkin/out was easy, but strange about key box at "dog level". Stairwell has not been renovated for a long time, but so far ok. Apartment is on first floor and has only a very simple lock. Bathroom/toilet are halfway up the stairs (outside apartment), and you don't know exactly who else uses them. During a night-time use, someone knocked loudly on the door from the hallway. Beds are worn out, have hollows and when removing the bedding you could see that the mattresses already have clear signs...

“We hebben op de eerste avond 3 uur zonder elektra gezeten. Niemand was eerst te bereiken. De Host niet, en ook de helpdesk van VRBO hielp ons niet verder. Uiteindelijk moest de onderbuurman komen om een de switch in zijn garage weer om te zetten. “I had a few days to tour Belgiam during a trip to Germany and am so happy I found The Mini. The small space had everything my traveling companion and I needed. The animals on the farm entertained us each morning, especial the brother and sister Burmese Mountain dogs. The proximity to Ghent, Bruges and the coast made travel so convenient. We were even able to book an additional night when an uncharacteristic snow storm kept us from traveling back to Cologne safely. All of our questions and needs...

“Schöne Einrichtung, aber viele Treppen zu laufen. Es gibt ein Stellplatz, was wirklich sehr vorteilhaft ist, da freie Parkplätze sehr selten sind.”
