The room smelled like a dirty AC filter. Lots of flies. The beds are DOUBLE, Not Queen. Hard and they had some kind of metal on the sides that were in the way. Breakfast was sausage, gravy, biscuits, no milk, juice, cereal, or eggs. We got there ant 8:30 annd there was nobody else there, and there was no food. Employee was mopping lobby floor during breakfast hours, which I thought was unsafe. Property is old and in need of major upgrades. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. Not a holiday destination place, but good enough for an overnight stay. There was no extra pillows. There was only one towel in the bathroom. There were bugs in the room. There’s no way they should be charging $100 a night for that dump. The furniture in the room was disgustingly dirty, the chair at the desk was torn. I was surprised as to how degraded the property was and stilling billing at such a high rate. I will never stay there again for health reasons. One has no idea what is clean and what is worn vs. dirty. I should have realized the area was unsafe based on the clerk being behind safety glass as soon as the sun went down. My recommendation would be to bulldoze the place and build something decent but the people they serve would just destroy the next facility. Spider webs were everywhere. The heating/cooling unit was busted open and didn't work properly. Wifi kept stopping and starting.
