Very charming and in a great location. We enjoyed the front patio and views. Room was comfortable and clean, staff was nice and accommodating. Felt like we were welcome guests.

Grounds and Building were very nice. The buffet breakfast was pretty disappointing. Beautiful dining hall but there were no dinners offered.

I needed a few days of rest and relaxation and this hotel was perfect. I had a lovely balcony to relax on and plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Still only five minutes from the larger town!

Very comfortable, clean, & central midrange hotel.
Well situated, clean and comfortable. The hotel, although a little dated, was very good value and we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom had a hardwired hairdryer , good shower (over a half-bath with built in seat), toiletries, comfortable bed and good pillows. Aircon quiet, and breakfast very nice. Good double glazing and a lovely view of the Meteora rock formations from a furnished balcony. No complaints whatsoever.

Great little hotel for the budget conscious!
Spanias is a great basic little hotel. The rooms have comfortable beds and there is a good, but basic, breakfast each morning. The staff are really helpful. The best thing is their location: what’s not to like about waking up to incredible views of Meteora? We would stay here again.

Nice and convenient hotel to stay to enjoy Meteora
The hotel itself is not very near to Kalambaka station, although was possible to walk to. Despite that, the hotel had a wonderful view and was close to he No. 4 bus stop where the Meteora bus stops.

Liked it a lot.
Worked great for us. We liked the staff and they were truly interested in making our stay at the hotel and area a success. One surprise was that the pool pictured on their website is down the road at a campground and has a charge to use. No big deal and it is a nice pool.

Quiet friendly hotel
Staff were extremely helpful and very kind. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Hotel is only 10 / 15 min walk from rail station. Kastraki is very quiet. Better restaurant choices in Kalabaka.

Best Litochoro Hotel
From the moment you enter this hotel you are given a warm welcome from Demeter the owner, and a true goddess! The family are most helpful and obliging in every way. Breakfast was the best ever. The hotel is warm clean modern and homely with amazing views of the main square and of Mt. Olympus. I truly recommend this hotel so do not hesitate when choosing where to stay in Litochoro. Magnificent Meteora Visit
Amazing location if you are touring the Meteora area. We had a wonderful view from our balcony. The room was clean and spacious. My only wish was for extra pillows in the room. We stayed for 2 nights and wished it could have been more. Breakfast was good too.

It is very well located to visit the beautiful Meteora monestaries. We were on a photographic trip so it was great to have breakfast at the hotel and be at the top of a mountain before sunrise. The staff were nice, as was breakfast. However the rooms we were given were at the back of the hotel so we missed out on the view. That said, we were only really there to sleep so it wasn't a big negative. The negative was the lack of soundproofing. A coach of drunk old Albanian ladies arrived at about 9pm and they spend the next 4-5 hours talking in the corridors, shouting at each other, and at one stage dancing to music blasting out a mobile phone. It was funny, but I was tired and they kept me up. A word from the owners would have helped but did not seem to happen. Regardless, I'd stay again.

The view from the hotel room was spectacular!
The stay was very pleasant. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The sheets and towels very clean. The breakfast was very descent and easy to please all. Our overall stay was excellent. No complains!

Nicely laid out, close to the start of the tour-road for the "Meteora" landscapes/monasteries, yet close to the town of Kalambaka to spend an evening. Adequate parking, well-landscaped, with views of the Meteora cliffs. Friendly family staff.

Nice hotel close to the monasteries.
Great breakfast with a variety to choose from. Close to the monasteries and a nice view of some mountains. Close to the main shopping area for restaurants and souvenirs. Host was very helpful with directions and gave us a map. Room was clean and quiet. Wifi was strong and several outlets.

Dated, but cozy and immaculately clean place. Staff were very sweet. Nice breakfast, keeping in mind breakfast in Greece is typically not all that elaborate. It's very quiet. My room didn't have a meteora view ( which is fine - you spend all day taking in the views when you're out and about in Meteora - it's not like you get back to your room in the evening and look at it some more from your hotel window); but it had a nice little patio facing a quiet wooded/brushy area in the back. So glad I found this place. :)

Good choice for a stay in Meteora
A nice hotel, located in the quiet little village of kastraki, ca 15 min walk from Kalabaka. No Wifi in the room but in the common space it works well. Rooms are clean and of average standard, with a nice balcony. An average continental breakfast. The reception is not always manned, maybe due to low season, so we had to wait a bit.

No head-height wall bracket for the handheld shower rose, which I find inconvenient. Reception spoke no or limited English, depending on who was there. Despite that, we managed to communicate, and the staff were friendly. I found the hotel quiet and comfortable, and enjoyed my stay. With en-suite bathroom, free breakfast and wi-fi, I consider it good value. But there is no free pick-up from the train station for solo travellers.

Not a friendly hotel.
If you like staying where there's no refrigerator in your room and when you ask for ice, staff (read owner) is rude to you or when you go for breakfast, those same persons are looking at everything you put in your plate like: don't eat so much... Or if you want to have to find a place in town to print train ticket because they don't want to do that for you. If you like all that: you can book there. If you want a friendly service: Book somewhere else.

I was a little confused when I booked this hotel. It is in Kastraki and I had wanted to book in Kalampaka. I think the booking information is a little unclear, until after you have confirmed your reservation. Maybe I should have read more closely. I enjoyed Kastraki - it is closer to the mountains so you can do a walk to some old churches and get close to the obilisk shaped rock. The hotel itself is quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast is OK. WiFi is painfully slow but I suspect that is the case for the whole town.

Great Hotel
The staff allowed us check in at 6am when our train arrived and also allowed us to leave our bags there after check out until our train left Kalambaka. Very helpful staff which spoke Greek and German. Staff did not speak as much English as other tourist traders in Greece but we found that standard in most of the Meteora area.

Nice hotel
The old man at the front desk didn't speak much English when I arrived, but he was very nice. The is another gentleman who speaks English and is usually around the hotel and will help if needed. Breakfast is included which is always a bonus and the food was simple but good (boiled eggs, coffee/tea, biscuits, jam and bread). The hotel is right at the beginning of the Kastraki area and is a bit of a walk form the centre of Kalambaka, but the walk is doable. The hotel is also on the list of hotels where you can be picked up from for the Meteora tour!

Serves its Purpose
Nice location, clean rooms, looks like its heyday was in the 70s and hasn't been upgraded since, no fridge ,tea/coffee, tiny TV, but if your are here to see this beautiful area it serves its purpose as a place to sleep, has a good breakfast buffet despite the owner standing over it watching as you eat his profit margin.
