Modern Miami Beach hotel on the ocean

Posted Jun 27, 2016
Pros: Mainly, the location and the fact that they have smoking rooms and smoking is allowed outside in the pool & bar area.
Cons: More in the way of dining options, including room service. Less add-on costs -- one has to pay a little extra for everything, including the room safe
Location: Well located on Collins Ave & 31st Street, right on the beach, walking distance to much of what Miami Beach has to offer in terms of dining & shopping
Generally, the hotel met our expectations -- staff were friendly & helpful, the room was nice, modern & clean (although a bit on the small side), we had a great balcony with a nice view of the ocean, the pool area is very nice and you have access to the beach and the boardwalk.

Terrible Expeirence

Posted Jun 20, 2016
Pros: The pool is 24hrs.
Cons: Make your guests happier. Improve your hotel rules and regulations because they suck.
Location: The hotel is in a great location you get ocean front, very nice views. But just the hotel itself sucks.
First off the hotel is most certainly not worth what we paid for! It's a very small hotel and everything is DEAD by 12am. The whole hotel shuts down at 12am, bars, cafeteria etc. I woke up at 1am very thirsty and I had to walk out of the hotel and walk down the street to a nearby subway to buy myself a soda. Another thing their elevators are super slow! Takes a good 15 mins to wait for the elevator and go down to the lobby if your on high floors like the 5th, 6th floor etc. STAFF. The best staff they have there are THE BARTENDERS! The bartenders were super super humble, friendly and awesome to talk too! Honestly they were the only reason why we still stayed there, because we were gonna go and try to book another hotel. We had so many complains and the staff/managers at the hotel did NOTHING to help us. Everything was money, they charge you for every little thing. Check in day was a mess we had been flying since 4am we got to the hotel at 10:30 am and we didn't get our room till 4pm! After all the disaster they did with our reservation we asked for a late check out because our flight wasn't till 8pm, well they wanted to charge us $25 an hour. I find that so ridiculous!! You would think they would try to make your stay pleasant by helping you out and all they do is make you pay more money! That hotel isn't worth for what we paid for whats so ever! They money we spent there could've been spent at an actual 5 start hotel. The food wasn't bad, but I still would've ate out.

Far from what we expected

Posted May 23, 2016
The food at the hotel is terrible, when we tried to order room service, we were told that that service is only for the Lufthansa personnel. Besides the beach, all attractions are a bit far from the hotel. When we checked in, our reservation was not at hand, the lady that registered us was eating while she spoke to us. The rooms are clean, but smell like a hospital.

Nice hotel. Not a 4 star

Posted Apr 23, 2016
The room was decent and staff was friendly. Room was small, fridge did not hve the regular bottles of water, however, staff did bring them once I brought it up. Restaurant looks very good but it does close early, the cafe is closed by midnight as well. No store 24 hours in the hotel. Pool closes at 6 although check in is at 3. Noon checkout was nice. Valet was well priced for the area, no self parked here, and valet crew was very fast with all request. Overall a 3.5 hotel in my opinion.... 3star rooms with 5start lobby look and feel

Pros: grounds, cleanliness, friendly staff
Cons: there was no room service, no microwaves in rooms or premises, you must pay a fee to use the room safe. There is no music or entertainment on premises
Great location, cleanliness, experience for the price.

The person at the front desk seemed like he did not know what he was doing. - extremely long time to enter info - said he needed my wife's birthdate - said we were not allowed to carry our bags to our room - after check in, he called me to come back down to complete missing info. Info he needed I already provided. - said we had two free water bottles in room. There were no water bottles.

Beautiful hotel, great pool and beach

Posted Apr 8, 2016
My only complaint would be that the check in process was very slow and room wasn't ready at 3:00. Also the prices at the restaurants and bar were a bit steep and gratuity was added in automatically. Other than that, beautiful and clean. Beach access directly behind the pool was awesome. Staff was friendly.
