Mill Springs Cabin on Lake Adger was wonderful! It had great decks overlooking the lake. We did not take advantage of the kayaks. Was too cold but would be a great summer time option! We have stayed at numerous properties and this is the cleanest of them all. 3 bedrooms and joining baths was perfect for the six of us. We prepared Thanksgiving dinner here and brought most all of what was needed. Was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen was very well equipped, well beyond any place we've stayed to date. Even had a citrus squeezer and electronic meat thermometer to our surprise. The propane firepit outside was perfect on the cold nights and actually worked great! The Joutl wood stove in the living room was perfectly supplied with fatwood, kindling, precut and stacked firewood! This is a first. Many places in the past have advertise firepits and fireplaces but didn't supply any materials. The coffee maker was a newer model that worked great. The cabin had an abundance of soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Very nice! Only improvement we saw was the kitchen could have used more lighting. If you changed the light bulbs in the 4 track lights to four 65 watt daylight BR30, I think that would solve the issue. The sliding door out of the kitchen wouldn't lock. Needs a lock bar or 2 x 2 to lay in the track. Would most definitely recommend this beautiful cabin!
