“Fabulous, quiet, right in the redwood forest, surrounded by 50 large redwoods. Short drive to trails. Bit of a drive to get there, as expected.Good house instructions.Kitchen was OK, but short on some things - hotpads, only 5 forks.Could have used a few more blankets.”

“The check in was very easy and they allowed us to drop off our luggage early and that was greatly appreciated!We wanted to stay in the mountains so the location was ideal but be aware it is a drive you want to make in the daylight. The host informed us of the drive and we appreciated that. The house was surface clean but it was DESPRATE for a deep and thorough scrub.We expected a rustic mountain cabin. However, it wasn’t a single "cabin" because people were in other areas of the large house.……

“Over all a pretty good experience. Beds were a litte uncomfortable, shower was small, and I definitely recommend you bring your own pillows but the place was clean, safe, and had 2 TVs, as well as a full kitchen. Communication with the owner was a 10/10. She was so helpful and kind. Would love to return in the future!”

“this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody. The owners were very easy to work with, and friendly, and……
