Charming holiday cottage
We had an enjoyable stay at this quaint home. Lovely big trees to relax under in the afternoon sun. Our pooches were so excited to explore the garden each day. We would like to stay again in the future.

Cosy cottage base in Mittagong
We were delighted with our recent one-month stay here. The Cottage was perfectly clean, homely and generously stocked with everything we needed to start enjoying our holiday immediately. The extra beds came in handy when our Sydney-based family visited and we spent many happy hours enjoying the backyard space and views to Mt Alexander. Renee was easy to communicate with and arranged for a cleaner and gardener to keep the Cottage fresh during our stay. The home is walking distance from the township and my husband made daily use of the bike provided to get his morning caffeine hit from the Boston Ivy cafe. Thanks for a great experience!

Lovely peaceful spot
The house is in a lovely quiet street. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay with some extras thrown in! We even had a family of ducks and ducklings to watch in the lovely garden outside the French doors. A great stay.

Fabulous getaway in the Southern Highlands
We absolutely loved our stay at Coppin Cottage in Mittagong. The property was immaculately clean and exactly as advertised but that doesn’t do justice to the peaceful surroundings. The gardens were stunning in both the mornings and evenings and our little dog loved the backyard too. This neighborhood is conveniently located and there are several great places to eat just down on Main Street in Mittagong (we love Chapter 1). We found the beds comfortable and especially appreciated the heating blankets and ample space heaters throughout the property. Look no further for a perfect weekend or week-long vacation. And the owner was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We were there just for sleeping and breakfast as we were out all day. But we were cosy at night. The only complaint I have is about the bedding in the first bedroom. YOU NEED A NEW MATTRESS. The quilt was also very heavy. I tossed it after the first night and opted for the lighter blankets. M

Gorgeous cottage

A lovely find

Fantastic Getaway
Nice and comfortable felt like home. Heating was awesome as it was quite cold over the Kings Birthday long weekend. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of extra blankets. Amazing backyard we had ducks and Kookaburras visit.. It was a nice walk to the shops.. I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Delightful long weekend
Well situated cottage for trail runs, walks, visits to the local galleries and nearby towns. The garden was perfect for an Easter egg hunt and the pantry was even thoughtfully stocked with chocolate eggs (as well as the usual pantry staples). We loved the wildlife we spotted. As a party of five - three adults, two kids - the space was ideal for our needs.

Destination Wedding
Lovely little cottage. We were in the Southern Highlands for a family wedding and the cottage was a nice alternative to staying in motels. Garden is a nice cool space on a hot day.

Lovely, warm, welcoming home.
My friend and I have stayed here several times for our "Scrabble Weekend". The house is such a quirky gem, with excellent heating, so that even on the cold days over the last weekend we were comfortable. There are always added extras which we really appreciate (who else has ever left lens cleaner - but what a great thought!!) The kitchen is really well set up, so you don't have to run out to buy seasoning or plastic wrap, with coffee machine, good quality toaster, kettle etc. There are plenty of glasses, plates etc, so you can load up the dishwasher without having to worry if you will run out of crockery. Renee was also super helpful when we had to change our dates because of a bereavement. At a terrible time we really appreciated her thoughtfulness. We always love our trips here and we will certainly be back.

Wet weather enforced more time in-house than planned, but fortunately the amenities in this lovely renovated cottage made for a very comfortable stay for this special time-out with family. We had a week long stay, and the challenges we had mostly related to the wet weather. There was no real outside undercover area to dry off shoes (other than front porch); and a clothes airer to dry off clothes that were not suitable for the dryer would have been useful as well. We loved the quiet neighbourhood, and enjoyed watching the birdlife and the neighbourhood ducks. The house was truly comfortable and all the extra touches provided were very much appreciated. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely, well equipped, cosy cottage
This is our second stay at cottage. Very well equipped and cosy. Heaters and underfloor bathroom heating was great. Great location in quiet neighbourhood and two bathrooms are a nice treat. Owner is very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thank you for letting us stay at your charming cottage, we felt very welcomed. Would stay again.

Lovely Peaceful break
Coppin Cottage was a delightful place to spend the Easter weekend. It was immaculately clean, has very comfortable beds and was one of the best equipped places we have stayed at. The garden is absolutely beautiful and a great place for our little dog to snuffle around. Renee had kindly left some little goodies which was a lovely welcoming touch. The fire in the lounge room was a bonus as was the heated bathroom floors so we were perfectly cosy. There was nothing I could fault with the place. It is a really lovely peaceful haven and we hope to come back. If you stay, you mustn’t miss Gumnut Patisserie…a real find for yummy pies and delicious desserts!

Old Mittagong Charm
What a delight to stay in the original Mittagong side of the Southern Highlands. Location is set below the mountain with very lush green surroundings and birdsong echoes all around. Lovely house in a quiet neighbourhood.
We have stayed at this property several times and are always very happy with the cleanliness and comfort. There are always some little surprises to make the stay even more enjoyable. Everything works well and the kitchen is fully equipped, so you can have an easy stay without scratching around to find things. We love sitting at the big table looking out on the luscious back garden, which is particularly lovely after all the recent rain. We are hopeful that we will stay here on many more occasions.

Perfect Break
Lovely cottage, especially loved the under floor heating in the bathrooms as weather very chilly. Our dog lovely the fenced backyard, wonderful bird life, we went and bought mince for friendly kookaburras. Beds comfortable, excellent heating and the best stocked pantry I ever seen, thanks for the Champagne and cheese! Very quiet we slept in every day. Hope to visit again

Excellent, roomy home with great little extras.
My friend and I have stayed in this little house a few times for our "Scrabble" weekend and are always delighted to be there. The house is warm and inviting. There is room for a variety of activities - even though we just need the table near the big windows and doors that open on to the back garden so that we can play! The kitchen is well stocked, the coffee machine is a lovely addition and the two bathrooms make for an excellent stay for two to four friends or two families. I highly recommend this house. The friendly kookaburras who sang in the trees outside were another lovely treat.

like being at home only with the southern highlands as easy reach
Lovely cottage with plenty of space if it’s needed, can sleep 6. We were just two so we closed off sections so as not to heat them unnecessarily, speaking of heat, the weather outside was a little cool but the cottage has heaters everywhere so we were very comfortable. Loved the heated bathroom floors, and the coffee pod machine. Plenty of condiments to use and some chocolate and wine left for our enjoyment. Perfect week away thanks.

Charming cottage
What a wonderful week we had at Coppin Cottage... everything was provided and Renee made us feel so welcome with lots of homely touches. Our dogs loved the securely fenced yard and we enjoyed watching all the birds. The house is very quiet and in a great location, so close to all the shops and attractions.

Magic Garden + Tranquil House
A lovely, spacious house with spectacular garden. Even though a cool and wet spell, we ate in the garden each day. Very well equipped and immaculately clean. Nice walk to coffee shops, good fruit shop and deli and bakery. Honest, considerate hosts and very good value.

Comfortable cottage, nice garden
The cottage was very well presented and quite charming. The kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of "goodies". Would be helpful to have clear instructions for heaters, we were wary of just "guessing". The garden was gorgeous, but it would be most helpful if the underhouse area was not so accessible for four legged friends, as easy to get under and may have been snakes. Would not be too hard to close off. Otherwise all good.

A Great Retreat
The ideal place for rest and relaxation. A lovely quiet neighbourhood and the garden is just beautiful. The cottage was able to accommodate my 3 friends and myself with our own room. It had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Cosy at Coppin
A very comfortable cottage - cosy but spacious at the same time. Well-stocked with all the utensils you could want. The garden was lovely - plenty of place to sit outdoors with a glass of wine and watch the kookaburras and crimson rosellas.
