About this property
Penmon View, Moelfre, Anglesey. With sea and mountain views.
The bungalow is situated in the quaint fishing village of Moelfre, within a 4 minutes walk to the shingle beach, where local fishermen keep their boats. The beach is overlooked by the pet friendly Pub, The Kinmel Arms, Ann's Pantry and the Icecream Parlour. There is also a seaside gift shop, and an acclaimed fish and chip shop. Close by is the Seawatch Centre and the working Lifeboat Station, which is situated on the Anglesey Coastal Path and well worth a visit. The coastal path is also a 5 minute walk from the bungalow for dog walkers.
Moelfre is a picturesque Maritime Village which has plenty of history due to nearby ship wrecks and the courageous work of the Lifeboat crews. Less than 5 minutes drive is the golden sandy beach at Lligwy which is ideal to spend those long hot summer days with the kids in one direction, and 5 minutes in the other direction is Benllech with 3 supermarkets a few takeaways and restaurants. There is also a lovely sandy beach there with 2 cafe's on the beach. Moelfre is suited to family holidays with so many nearby attractions, The Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Nature World, Rib Rides down the Menai and Plas Newydd to mention just a few.
The bungalow has ample parking space for 2 cars on the drive. This beautifully appointed spacious 2 bedroom bungalow has views from the lounge and kitchen of the sea and the Snowdon mountains beyond. The well equipped open plan kitchen diner, has a modern fitted kitchen with a microwave, Tassimo Coffee machine, slow cooker and all the appliances you would expect. The new dinning table seats 4. The laundry room which is off the kitchen has a washing machine, tumble drier and dish washer. The lounge contains 2 leather sofas to relax on, a fireplace constructed out of Moelfre stone, which was quarried locally. we have also added to this an electric log burner.
The master bedroom ( The Puffin Room ) has a double bed, dressing table, mirror and wardrobe and ample draws for storage. We supply towels and bedding.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds a wardrobe and ample drawers for storage. The bathroom which has been newly fitted, has a bath, electric shower, heated towel rail, and is dressed in a nautical theme. The bungalow has a newly installed electric heating system.
The garden benefits from having an open aspect giving it the maximum amount of sun, which is enhanced by having a seating area with BBQ and a separate eating area.

Lovely property very well equipped beautiful little fishing village with a couple of nice places to eat. Views amazing with great coastal pathways. Lots to do and some beautiful coves and bays to visit.
Nice location in a quiet location with stone beach, pub, cafe, ice cream shop only minutes away. Lifeboat station and small museum 5 mins away. Coastal path has some nice walks with Benllech sandy beach only a short walk away.
A wonderful bungalow ideally situated for visiting the amazing places on Anglesey. The bungalow was extremely comfortable and well equipped and we look forward to staying again next year.
This bungalow is top class. Beautifully decorated tastefully furnished with everything you could possibly want & all in the right place. We loved our stay & having stayed here some years ago know that Mr. Collins has done a wonderful reburbishment. In lovely Moelfre & so close to the beach you couldnt ask for more. Thankyou.
Great property in ideal location to enjoy all the outdoor treats in and around Anglesey. Perfect place for our collie Frankie who is now exhausted after a wonderful time on the local beaches and trails.
Stayed here again - so must be good :)

Penmon View is a lovely little bungalow situated in a lovely little coastal village. Excellent hosts and welcome pack and the bungalow is equipped with more than you would need for a wonderful holiday. View from the back over to the Menai Straits and to the Snowdonia Mountain range beyond. Good location for coastal walks to other nearby bays, and is situated close to larger towns. Highly recommended.
From the moment we arrived it was perfect. The welcome gifts, the cleanliness and everything we could need. The kitchen is full of all the equipment we needed. The beds are comfortable and the area is peaceful. Beautiful views, pub and village in short walking distance. We hardly used the car. We would certainly return and loved the area. Thank you
We’ve just returned from a great week staying at Penmon View. The house is lovely, very comfortable and well equipped. It’s in a convenient location in Moelfre - a great little village with fabulous pub (and pizza!), ice cream parlour, cafe, super fish and chips and a little shop. The walks from the house are great, especially with the dog. Keith and Yvonne are perfect hosts, and were very responsive and helpful when I messaged them. We would certainly recommend Penmon View, and would be very happy to stay again!
Lovely bungalow. Enclosed garden which was ideal for our dog. Very thoughtful welcome pack.Fell in love with Moelfre. Loved the lifeboat Centre. Beautiful coastal walks.Enjoyed Anns Pantry take away latte and cakes. We sat on the beach and watched the boats. Very dog friendly. Place
Would recommend.
Had a lovely week's stay in Penmon View. Well maintained and extremely well equipped. Short walk to Moelfre beach or for walkers there is the beautiful coastal walk passing the new Lifeboat station. Benllech bay only a few minutes drive. We ate at great restaurants either locally or only 15 to 30 minutes drive depending how we spent our day.
Loved every minute. Can't wait to return.
Fresh, clean; décor, furnishings, etc are first class, a real credit to the owners who are also so helpful and obliging. Lovely welcome pack of wine, milk and local goodies is another really lovely touch, though highly calorific!
Garden also well well laid out and fully equipped though one small gripe would be lack of privacy where picket fence overlooks 2 neighbouring gardens and vice versa, some screening would be nicer.
An outstanding property that I hope to return to sooner rather than later.
Wonderful week at Penmon View , beautiful , clean, well positioned property . Beautiful views from the back garden , totally enclosed , so ideal for our dog . Penmon view has everything you could need for a great, relaxing holiday , many thanks to Keith and Yvonne for such a generous and thoughtful welcome pack. The bungalow is ideally located for a short stroll to Moelfre harbour with its beautiful views and would highly recommend a visit to The Kinmel Arms and Anns Pantry . Enjoyed the stunning views from the coastal path , and saw Dolphins and shoals of Mackerel from the headland . Penmon View is also ideally located to visit other parts of this island , and we would highly recommend
Penmon View is a lovely bungalow ideally situated in a beautiful coastal village within a 5 minute drive to the lovely lligwy beach and within 15 minutes to Red Wharf bay. Bungalow was really well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, it was clean with a lovely welcome pack on our arrival (thank you Keith and Yvonne!). The hosts provided lots of information on the bungalow and the area. The enclosed garden was great for our 2 small dogs and it was closely situated to the local shop, fish and chip shop and pub. It is only a 10 minute drive into Benllech for takeaways and larger shops. We have holidayed in this area a few times a number of years ago when we had a caravan and the bungalow was a gem of a find in an area we love. Will definately be back. Thank you Yvonne and Keith!
Property ideal for 4 people . Fully equipped, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer in utility room ( which is very useful in poor weather/ pet owners)
Enclosed rear garden but back picket fence not high and bouncy bigger dogs would be able to jump over it . Driveway technically does take 2 cars but narrow with restrictions both sides ( hedge and small wall ) limiting full opening of car doors.
Towels are provided but think a couple more would be useful.
Heated towel rail in lovely bathroom is useful . Kitchen well equipped.
Very thoughtful welcome pack . WiFi . Some periods of poor TV reception.
Walking distance to everything in Moelfre, flat walk to chippy and local shop / cafe .
Bit of a hill elsewhere but once on the cliff walk it’s pretty easy walking . Much improved over the years. Pub , The Kinmel is in lovely spot overlooking the bay and serves food . Big portions!!
Very friendly people
Moelfre is wonderful and since my first stay there in 1970 it holds a especial place in my heart.
We had a lovely stay in this quiet, warm and homely bungalow. Ideal for a family of three or four, with great walks from the doorstep and a perfect base for exploring Anglesey. A good local pub is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. We’d return.
A very comfortable stay with a lovely welcome pack. All the family enjoyed it. It was very relaxing, well equipped and we were able to walk to the beach in a few moments.
