It is a beautiful old hotel with LOTS of charm. The intake staff was multi lingual so that was very helpful. Very clean room. It took a bit to figure out how to turn on the lights. Have to put room key in the slot inside the room. A/C did not work. Bed was very hard and big bricks for pillows. We left before breakfast so i can not comment on breakfast. But easy to get a taxi for the airport. Walkable for dining options.

Stayed one night then into a cruise. Was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was wonderful! I like protein foods eggs and coldcuts were lovely.

Good hotel in a quite area but not much to do in Monfalcone. A good place to use as a base for day trips to bigger places. The set up of the property it’s a little weird but the rooms are comfortable and clean.
Staff is helpful and friendly.
