This place is rundown. Things don't work properly

Posted Jul 25, 2017
Pros: Not much!
Cons: Almost everything. Fix the plumbing. Replace the lamps. Get some decent toilet tissue.
The place is not kept up. The lamps so rickety I had to jiggle them to get them to stay on. There was no stopper in the sink, so I couldn't wash anything in it. The shower water came out of the top spray and the lower faucet at the same time and wouldn't stop running. There are no tissue boxes and the toilet paper is so thin it's hardly there at all. I had to use a hair clip to keep the curtain from opening when closed. This place is a mess.

Showing it's age

Posted Jan 17, 2017 on Hotels
The building is older, and definitely showing it's age. There was a bug section of wall near the shower, probably cut and replaced to fix a leaking pipe, and never fully patched. The floor seemed a bit sticky to me. The wifi server was good when it worked, but dropped randomly. The keys are "real" keys, no card keypads, and also the doors only had the doorknob to hold it - no extra deadbolt or chains. Rather scary, when someone might decide to go and copy a key, and viola - they have access to your room, whether you are there or not. On the plus side, it is very close to the Del Monte Shopping Center, and nearby Downtown Monterey. Also close to the highway entrance, but not too close.
