Room had been lived in (not cleaned) and missing a refrigerator. I will say the staff graciously moved us to another room promptly and with much courtesy. There was no complimentary breakfast and no creamer for the in room coffee.

The good news is that the bed & amount of covers / selection of pillow weight & fluffiness was good. Otherwise, there needed to be attention to mold on the bathroom at ceiling & wall. Frustration with housekeeping...had been 2 minutes into a hot shower to accomplish Goal #1-washing hair...only to find there to be 2 conditioners on wall (dispensing shampoo container units)...seemed a bit dirty. my guess is I didn't get top choice of rooms, cut w/ tax still at top $. No free coffee in lobby (without buying breakfast); room coffee maker sufficed. The little Bistro bar & food nook was run by a NICE woman who WAS professional and courteous, so the $15 cocktail (add tip) was worth it... Had a small 'walled" area to catch up on news/(TV) and it had comfie divan seating.

Needs some TLC- pretty tired ol’ building
This Marriott hotel is one of the most tired hotels we have stayed at. Everything was well worn, the carpets in the hallway were dirty, we were not getting daily house keeping, which is fine except we do need coffee and cups everyday and it was difficult to find someone to bring those to our room. The ladies at the front desk were usually talking to other employees so it felt like I was interrupting if I needed to ask for something. One time there was an argument happening between 3 housekeepers at the front counter. Our keys stopped working twice during the week and we had to get them re-keyed, as did everyone else in our group, all on different floors. One of the outside doors wouldn’t open at all- the one nearest the elevator, so that was inconvenient.

The staff was kind; however, this was not a typical Courtyard at all. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom needed to be updated and had a dirty towel on the shower rod when we arrived. The TV in the sitting area didn’t work. The pillowcases and love seat were stained. The overall feel was grimy. Also, I checked out a night early, and the hotel is refusing to refund me for the unused night.

Great hotel… they just need a coffee maker!
Everything was great. I just wish they knew how to make the Starbucks coffee the next morning so we didn’t have to drive to a different Starbucks.

I extended my stay by a week and then during the extended week i checked out a couple days early. Marriott said they would email me the receipt. I looked at my bank statement a few days later and Marriott charged me for the entire stay and the double billed me for the first week i was there. Trying to get this resolved is like pulling teeth. My first and last time staying at marriot and i will never have a receipt emailed to me again. This is past annoying.

The staff was very polite and helpful. However, the hotel looked unkept on the exterior and interior. Dirty carpet, markings on the walls, ppl hanging towels over the balcony, a slight stench. I had a balcony that was filthy with two old lawn chairs on it, definitely not inviting to relax out there. My room was clean, but outdated. I always wipe down everything in hotels and when I wiped all the surfaces in my room, nothing came off on them, so that was great. Again, the staff was nice, but that hotel needs a deep cleaning and remodel.

Definitely not what I expected from a Mariott, The couch was dirty. In the morning the staff was loud in the hallway outside of my room. It was in an area where there are a lot of panhandlers, but they were peaceful and respectful. For the price I paid, I'd stay there again. I would just lower my expectations a little.

The receptionist who checked us in were extremely rude and unprofessional. She made us uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would never recommend anyone staying here. This had to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The security guard was very helpful. Please fire that receptionist. She made the Courtyard Marriott brand a bad name.

It took to long to check to check in. And the heat in my the room were in didn’t work. The repair person did this best to get it working but, couldn’t. And hotel’s bar was not open, and when it was didn’t have an opener to open a bottom of wine. That a customer wanted. And Not able to serve my wife a glass of wine, because no one on staff to sale or serve it.

It was awful! No hot water and then we had to fight with them about refunding a night and leaving early! Stay away- this is not what one expects from a Courtyard by Marriott! This was closer to a Motel Six!

No hot water so we were unable to shower. Reported problem to the staff at front desk. Manager(?) took over and checked us out didn’t offer apology or alt solution…in fact didn’t speak, just typed and gave me a receipt. When i then asked if there might be a discount for the lack of basic needs for an overnight stay. She said we booked though a 3rd party, so no. Still no apology and no offer of solution. Also ice machine didn’t work on our floor so i had to go down a level. I mentioned this too. She didn’t seem to care. Manger that checked us out had a nose ring. Very severely lacking in customer service skills. As a guest of the hotel that was willing to take my credit card and likely charge me for any extras, i would expect some help of their facilities are INOP We were in room 305.
