“Upon approaching the lodge, we were appalled at the condition of the building. It was run down and the landscaping needed attention. We were also very surprised to read a note on the outside of room saying that all Finger Lakes Lodging guests must register at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa down the road. We did as the note requested and went down to the spa. I wasn't very far away. Upon approaching the front desk I was asked how I was today. I said very disappointed in the condition of the building……

“I chose to stay at this hotel during my daughter's Cornell graduation season, as all the nearby hotels had skyrocketed their prices. Fortunately, this hotel still offered a very reasonable rate. The rooms at the hotel were spacious and incredibly comfortable. However, what truly touched our hearts was the hotel owner who generously gifted us with several wonderful graduation mementos. It was an unforgettable and heartwarming experience that exceeded all expectations.”

“I stayed at the Cortland Motel for one night after a concert in nearby Homer. My expectations were low since I only needed an inexpensive place to sleep before heading home the next day. Overall, it met those expectations. The biggest positives were the price, location, cleanliness, and parking. It's right off I-81, and the classic one-storey motel layout means plenty of parking is directly outside the rooms. While the property is very dated, the room and bathroom were spotless, and the……
