"The house was clean. All appliances in good working order. Check in was easy. Owner easy to communicate with. She even checked in with me to make sure I got home okay. She was great to work with. Will stay there again, if I am in the New River Gorge are. Located close to attractions and out door events."

"Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!"

"We loved our stay at this property! It was extremely clean! Many places we’ve stayed before do not do a thorough job cleaning but this place was spotless. The owners did an awesome job remodeling it and it was decorated so well and had new appliances. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, it was nice having a full size washer/dryer. "Very cute, comfortable, and well put together cottage. Supplied with everything needed and some appreciated extras . Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk! Hope to be back to the area with some friends and will stay at this cottage again!"

"The house was in the center of the town and everything was very close. It is very convenient to New River Gorge and all the activities in the area. Access info was accurate and very easy. "The little house was exactly as described. It was very cute, spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and I’m picky about my bed! The train tracks are VERY close, but we enjoyed watching the trains go by. There were about 3 per night. The horns woke us but we were lulled back to sleep by the sound of the trains. The kitchen was well equipped but I suggest you bring your own spices if you plan to cook. The area is gorgeous and we were able to hike many trails throughout the park....

"We LOVED our stay! The house had everything we needed from spices in the kitchen to hot chocolate for my boys. The dog bed and dog toy were a bonus! This was our first family trip that we brought our pup with us, and I feel now he'll get to go on every vacation. The fenced in yard was great, the view from the yard/deck was wonderful. The owners gave us a bunch of recommendations from places to hike and where to eat. Everything was wonderful!"

"The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. Kitchen was nicely stocked, note there were no paper products in the kitchen. House was clean and welcome bag was a nice touch! Thanks for a great base for our trip."

"Everyday was an adventure for our group of two couples from NJ who travel together every year. Biking (downhill was the best!), eating out at Gaines Estates and other local restaurants, grilling in, boating, and more biking were some of the highlights of our trip. We were all able to get a good night sleep for each of the five nights of our stay. The wildlife in the backyard was a bonus. Kitchen was well-stocked! Wild and wonderful time. We love West Virginia."
