She was unaware until it was returned. We would love to host you all again. It is a special lake and resort. The fall colors are magical. And, if you bring an ATV it's even more fun to ride in the national forest to view all of God's majesty. We loved hosting Will and his family. Holidays are so fun on the mountain. Will, if you ever want a new Thanksgiving experience we know how to do it at Mt Harbor Resort. We serve Thanksgiving dinner at the lodge or cook your own in your condo. Friday is the Christmas lighting ceremony. Sat is a huge fund raiser for our exceptional volunteer Fire Dept. Then a ride to the top of the mountain on Sunday. A well rounded holiday experience. Come back again soon, we are always here, Sami

We enjoyed hosting the Cooley family and were so glad they could get an Ouachita (Wash-ah-tah) experience during our Off Season. The rates are so friendly and our lake is so nice and clean. Our hiking and local fun of digging for diamonds and crystals is such a unique experience. We hope you all will come back and try riding ATVs in our national forest. It's great here even in the Off Season.

Jeez Oh Pete, you are so kind. I would love to host you guys again. I go camping for weeks in Oct and swim in the day and have a fire at night. And, watch the same pair of eagles kick a juvenile out of the nest. Come back then and join us on the island during the day. Or, come when it's really cold and ride in the mountains with us. OMG, thank you so much, Rebecca. I am so pleased you enjoyed yourself. I have watched an eagle eat a snack in the tree right next to the screened in porch. Our favorite time of year is Fall with the leaves reflecting off the calm water...it is truly breathtaking. My absolute favorite time here is Oct and Nov. The water is still warm enough to swim in Oct and we ride our ATVs in the forest all winter long. After allowing her to stay an extra day for free, they treated my home with complete abandon. They let their shedding dog on absolutely every bed and piece of furniture. My carpet cleaning bill was $174 to remove smell and hair. I haven't received the invoice for having the disposal fixed which i have photos of what she stuffed down it if you want me to forward them. Also, I had to have 2 glass storm doors repaired due to her breaking the closers. The same person fixed the doors and disposal. I will return any of her deposit that remains after having to repair her damage. If she had called about either the doors or disposal during her stay there would not be an issue. When i brought it up to her she said they were broken before she got there. They were not. We work very hard to make our units special and fully stocked. Out of 60+ reviews this is our only bad one. I wish her the best in the future. Sami
