The building has been recently painted, the grounds were clean and managed. Desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was modern and very clean except for the floor which was FILTHY. My husband removed his sneakers once in the room, and when he showered in the morning, it was muddy water in the tub. Gross. So happy I make it a habit to wear slippers in hotel rooms. HVAC system was SO loud that it startled us awake every time the ac kicked on. The 2nd night, we turned the ac up so that it wouldn’t go on as frequently, and of course then we were too warm. There was also some type of motor/engine running outside our window that sounded like a car running- I kept getting up to go to the window to see if I could figure out what it was. Housekeeping emptied our trash, and took our dirty towels (which we left hanging to use again- and they did not replace them), but didn’t make up our bed or anything else. It was an attractive hotel and room, and the staff was pleasant, but the noise was so loud and the carpet so skeevy that we cut our vacation short and checked out a day earlier than planned. They were accommodating and did not charge us for the night we cancelled which we were very appreciative of.
