The condo appeared to be cleaned, clean towels and sheets on the bed, clean shower, toilet, and sink. However dishes had been rinsed and put back (probably from the previous guests) without actually washing them. Dried coffee and soda in the mugs/glasses, forks and plates had dried food still on them. No cleaning supplies are included, so I brought my own sponge and dish soap so I cleaned the dishes we needed before we used them.
The view from the balcony was nice. It was quiet but we were there in the off season so I believe there were only a handful of people in the whole building.
The couch was not the most comfortable to sit on, but it was a pull out for an extra bed so those are never the most comfortable. As a whole, the condo was a little worn down, but for the price I didn't expect anything else. It was a good value compared to the cost of hotels nearby.
This is the first time Ive booked with Expedia, so I dont know if its this particular host or expedia, but the number of emails and texts leading up to the stay was getting annoying. Just making the reservation I got 5 emails and 5 texts immediately, then for every communication from the host (trying to upgrade/lengthen my stay) I would get more duplicate emails & texts.
I wasn't even going to leave a review, but I keep getting bombarded by emails. This is my honest review, take it or leave it.
