The hotel was shabby,the accomodation part of the hotel was 25yrs out of date,the beds worn out,the ambience was 3rd world.We were booked for 3 nights and left after one,We asked Hotels .com for a refund and the hotel .the receptionist told us when we checked out that the hotel as at that time had not been paid yet as expected we got a the brush off from Hotels.com when a refund was requested.The hotel must have thought a return visit was not going to happen so why would they do the right thing by us.I realise all the small print covers Hotels.com but having the decency to treat clients with courtesy seems a bridge too far.
