“Clean room, cleaning lady was super nice to my family. The front desk old lady was very nice. The hair dryer did not work, bathroom door didn’t work, needs to be fixed. The breakfast was limited. Parking area, clean and spacious. I really liked staying here. However, unfortunately something very embarrassing happened at the end when I was getting ready to leave. My wife about to get a shower when an old man opened our room without knocking or saying a word. She had the bathroom door open, she……

“We’ve stayed here many times and it continues to be our go-to place when in the area. The only downside this time was a very slow drain in the bathroom sink that caused water to back up for a couple minutes. In fairness, we did not let the manager know until we checked out so they didn’t get a chance to fix it during our stay. Hopefully, this will not be a recurring problem.”

“I absolutely loved the unit. It was exactly as described and SO much more. This unit was very thoughtfully equipped and everything seemed brand new. I was so taken by the history of the original 1887 house and the work they have done to restore it. The old Carriage house was also restored and now serves as a garage with the rental unit above it. I love history and felt fully immersed by this property, the trees, the roads, and the City in general. All amazing! I had friends visit me while……

“The place and room were clean. the hot tub was way too hot and the whole pool area was also too hot! No continental breakfast!! I will not stay there again.”

“It is as fine as it can be for being a basement. There were some outside bugs and spiders and spider webs in some places. Wasps in door frames and I got stung on my finger and my cheek. There was confusion on how to enter the property.”

“The hotel was very clean and they provided a nice breakfast that varied from day to day. The service provided by the Kennedee at the front desk was most pleasant and courteous! You have a gem with Kennedee greeting guests in such a lovely manner!!!”

“Fun little place. A creative renovation. Very well supplied. I brought my usual "just in case" supplies but did not need any of them. Just off main street but quiet for evening and nighttime. Some traffic noise during the day. Enjoyed walking/exploring the small downtown. The courthouse building is impressive. Good place to stay when needing a place in the area. Planning to try a longer stay next time.”

“They never came to clean the room take out the trash. They didn’t replace the tissue that was out. We had to ask for towels and they only gave us one. There were three of us. There’s mold in the bathroom tub.”
