"Room was clean and the view was of the ocean. It was difficult to get to the beach as the stairs were not the best. The beds were not very comfortable. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was better than expected."

"The charm of this property is that it is older. We like the retro coastal decor of the cabin rooms and prefer the two bedroom units, which are affordable. If you are a light sleeper, there are ear plugs provided and we also appreciated the box fan at night. We ordered a pizza one evening from the restaurant and it was delivered to our room, which was a nice touch. The mini fridge, kitchen sink, dishes, utensils and cups, plus the amenities room with hot water and cocoa are all nice to have when staying here. The S’mores box is an added bonus."

"The room was very nice and clean, so was almost all of the rest of the hotel. The hot tub had some grime floating in it, pretty gross but expected i guess. the receptionist who checked us in was extremely rude handling our check in. we did not realize there was an age limit, we had to change the name on our reservation, which is not the hotels fault, however the receptionist handled it with absolutely zero hospitality, comparable to a robot with how he acted. overall very average hotel, nothing special. i would not stay here again. "

"Room was amazing, was able to see the ocean while taking a shower. Breakfast was the typical complimentary fake eggs, microwave sausage etc.but the room made up for it."

"Staff at check in/out, great-no issues, the room however, was not clean. The shower had dirt and hair, the kitchenette had food all over, even on the utensils in the drawers. The window was open when we arrived, there was no screen on the window, and the room was cold. We turned on the heater that did not work, and they give you a paper thin blanket, so we were cold the majority of the night, while having moths literally flying in our faces, assuming from the open window. Will not be returning. "

"Always loved staying at the Sandcastle. To our suprise this time the rooms have been completely remodeled and they are beautiful! The view is absolutely perfect and we enjoyed our stay so much! We will definitely be back again soon!"

"The hot tub was perfect. Especially the view overlooking the beach. Couldn't ask for a better weekend there. "
