Tranquil Retreat
Rustic yet touched with modern amenities, it truly offers the best of both worlds. Imagine the charm of a wood stove chasing away the morning chill, and the soothing sound of loons breaking the stillness of the day - this is what awaits you here. Every moment at this cabin was a delightful escape. The screened-in porch quickly became our go-to spot. A perfect vantage point to enjoy the delightful cross breezes, watch fish leap out of the water, or enjoy the hypnotic dance of the setting sun against a dramatic mountain canvas. We passed many an hour playing a leisurely game of dominoes or swapping family stories before firing up the laptop for our tradition of watching Jeopardy! together. Our stay, which varied between two and four adults, never felt crowded. The cabin could easily accommodate two more. Every amenity mentioned was present, often exceeding our expectations. The thoughtful little surprises welcoming us to the cabin were delightful. Lastly, kudos to our hosts Kevin and Maura Lee! Striking the right balance between being accessible and respecting privacy is an art, and they've mastered it. Always available for any query, but never imposing. While the cabin offers a feeling of seclusion, it is never too far from nearby services, making it an ideal blend of isolation and convenience. If you're looking for a vacation where you can truly disconnect, find peace, and appreciate the little things life offers, this cabin is the place to be. PERFECT!

Cozy, quiet setting. Kids had wonderful time swimming and fishing. Mattress in master bedroom somewhat uncomfortable but twin beds fine.

We are thrilled that your grandchildren had a great time swimming and fishing using the camp's canoe and the raft at the beach. The camp is a wonderfully serene place to stay and decompress and we thank you for your 4-star rating. With regard to your concern about the comfort level of one of the mattresses, we apologize for your inconvenience. Unfortunately comfort varies from one guest to the next depending on their individual preference of mattress firmness. During 2021 and 2022, we rented the camp all season (prior to VRBO listing) without any mention of discomfort.
