I stayed at Nap York on a quick vacation to NYC. The facilities were clean and well kept and the beds were suprisingly comfortable. I stayed in a 6-person shared room and everyone remained quiet and respectful. The front desk staff weren't the most friendly but it didn't take away from the experience. If you want a cheap place to stay that's a little quieter then your typical hostel I would definitely recommend. The location was ideal

Great location, decent / clean accomodations
Really good location near Columbus Circle. Pretty quiet unless you have loud roommates. I've stayed in numerous shared-room hostels before. This one's pretty clean for what this is. I would still recommend people bring disinfecting wipes to wipe down their lockers, steps, and bed-box situation. The cleaning people don't do that other than change sheets unless it's obviously dirty.

I originally booked a different room type but was told by Mario, the concierge/staff at the time, that the person who processed my booking made a mistake and I was assigned to the 4 bed mixed room instead. They promised to refund the difference and, 7 days after, I still haven't received the deposit. The only good thing about this place were the amenities and location, but I was disappointed with their service and unkept promises.

One of my favourite hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The blackout curtains around the bunks were incredible - I got the best sleep at any hostel I’ve ever been to. Beds were surprisingly comfy. The lockers were full size and quite wide, could easily fit multiple pieces of luggage! Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location, hotel-quality facilities in a hostel, bunk was a bit stuffy esp when the a/c didn't work. Love the quiet vibe, although the muzak and loud fan in the common area were a bit distracting and nailed-down chairs and tables was kinda odd. Washroom connected to rm 204 needs a paper towel dispenser and a garbage can. Can we use common areas on other floors? It wasn't clear.

Property in a great area. Clean & spacious. I am 77yo and was given a top bunk. Motion activated lights were disturbing to others as I have to pee 3 or 4 times a night. Getting out of da bunk was challenging. I only stayed one night and I’m expecting a refund for da nights remaining.

Perfect Pod Place
This spot just a few blocks from Central Park in one direction and Broadway in another. It’s a real find for a quick trip to NYC. If you are working all day and need a convenient spot to simply sleep, it’s perfect. Keep in mind these are Pods-single bunk beds and quite compact. Yet the mattress was awesome, the coverlet warm and the bedside lamp and plugs for electronics is literally at your fingertips. The shared bath and shower were spotless, a towel is provided and there is a locker in the room for stuff. Bring your own lock if you are inclined to lock your stuff up. If you don’t feel comfortable climbing up a ladder to the upper bunk, you may want to request a lower one. There are spots to store your luggage if you have a few hours lag between checkout and your NYC departure. If you are young and traveling this is a perfect reminder of overnight stays when doing summer travel in Europe. If you are a solo traveler, it’s a perfect stopover for a good night’s sleep. There is no smoking, no drugs and no drama! A great value for the price. Checkout time (at this review) is 10 am. Don’t sleep through it!

As I had given a review about 4 months for the same property - I did like the overall experience at your establishment, one gets a real NYC experience - a very diverse and in your face but at same time civilized 24 hrs place in a great location. Next time in New York I will return.

This was such a great stay, never knew that I could find something as affordable and clean as this! The only trouble I had one time was when I tried to get into the property during the after hours and I waited a bit to get in but it wasn’t too big a deal (just hot out). Otherwise I totally recommend staying at Nap York!!!

The staff at the front desk were good and accommodating. It’s very quiet inside considering the noise outside. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleaner would take items that they thought were trash that was not and actually had value to me. Only a minor thing.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were super friendly. I had doubts before going there since I have never stayed at a shared space before. This was my first experience but it was totally worth it. The place is also very close to the subway, times square and much more that it made transportation way easier. And special thanks to the staff members who were super kind and helpful throughout my stay.

The property is nice and clean —the room was so hot—like 80 degrees. We had air conditioning but management controls the temperature and I guess they save money keeping the rooms unbearably hot. They said the rooms are hot because people complain about the room being cold. They only have a thin top sheet no blankets. And people were sleeping in the common area. Very unsafe. Either you have paid for a bed or you are crashing. Security allowed the crashing in the chairs in the common area.

Great stay- exceeded expectations!
Loved my stay in Nap-York. Room was so clean and comfy. Calming environment and nice area to sit in with kitchenette. Only issue I had was came back in just after midnight and no one let me in at desk. So I was standing at the front door for a while though was let in when called via the Instagram page. Overall amazing stay- will be back!
