There was no hot water during my stay there on 3/20/24. It was freezing cold there and they expected us to shower with freezing cold water!!

I normally don’t write bad reviews, but this hotel was a very strange experience. The bathroom was downstairs and the bedroom was upstairs. There was a small kitchenette, with nothing to be able to use for kitchen. No plates and cups. There was no dining table or chairs to eat, no ice cube tray, and the bedroom only had one pillow for each person. The room was hot and when I called the front desk to help me they said just find the mode button and try to fix it. When I told him it wasn’t working, he said just continue trying . I felt like I was bothering him. Lastly when we arrived at our room for the first time, the door was wide open and the TV was on. I told front desk and it did not phase him. Happy it was only for one night. Very uncomfortable evening

I was not expecting a luxury property. I just needed someplace to sleep for one night. The hotel looked nice on the outside and the room was well designed and functional. -The toiled did not flush unless it was just urine. - The shower worked for the small wand, but when I tried to turn on the showerhead, it sounded like it was going to blow up and never turned on. -There was painters tape holding something onto the ceiling. -The TV had no cable, only free streaming services, which would have been fine, but contiually stopped to refresh itself- about once a minute. This did not meet the basic standards of a hotel and I would like a full refund. I would have been satisfied if the above was functional.

We stayed at this place for a week. It's an excellent location. It's central-west Brooklyn, close to a LOT of the best spots in BK, and also a very quick trip into Manhattan. Try to stay on the west side of the hotel if you can. The view is a delight. There's a well-priced grocer and a couple coffee shops right up the street. I absolutely want to mention something. We had significant problems with our room and our stay. A couple things happened that were just not great. So why is my rating so high? Because the staff and management went out of their way to both 1) take care of the issues as they happened and 2) address the problems with us after we left. Problems can happen anywhere. It's solutions that matter. They've earned repeat visits out of me for the way they showed up.

The hotel does not even deserve that name. We were woken up after midnight by incredibly loud people on a balcony beneath our window AND woken up again just 7 am by construction booming sounds of a jackhammer on the property. Plus no coffee machine or coffee in the lobby. Never again. I payed over $350 for a bare room, little sleep and no amenities.

My only problem with this property was this property when I arrive at the hotel on 18 March 2024. It wasn’t brought to my attention. There was No hot water in the entire hotel , I called the front desk I called Wyndham rewards and the only thing they can tell me that was not going to probably not gonna be hot water in the next 24 to 48 hours which it was really upsetting to me because It could’ve been brought it to my attention. As soon as I checked into the hotel I ended up having to go and take a shower at my gym Which is Planet Fitness , so I require a full refund from the hotel for the huge inconvenience, And for that reason, I will never spend my money in this place ever again, and then top of everything they still have the nerve to ask me for $150 Dls For incidentals, which to me is insane not even The Four Seasons charges a $150 for incidentals I want a full refund of my money, and also one last thing I did not even spend the night there. I ended up having to leave to go straight to the airport. I sleep on the floor in the airport From 11:00 pm till 6:00 am in Morning when my flight lives

The guy working the front desk smelled so bad. It was like an armpit in a diaper. He doesn’t need a shower he needs a doctor. The hot water didn’t work for days before I checked in, they never mentioned it. I would never stay here again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this place. If you want a cold shower and someone who never bathed before this is the place for you. Four thumbs down.

It was close to where I needed to be. It was clean. However, the hot water was broken. The night manager has body odor so bad it stinks up the entire lobby area. There is no hot coffee available. The tv is only on streaming and the WiFi Is spoty.

I thought the hotel was “nice” but not really worth the cost. Too expensive. The staff were very nice and polite and the room was clean. It was just overpriced.

This property was super nice, very clean, the workers were very helpful. The location was right next to the subway so I felt much more comfortable as a women traveling alone to know that I can walk less then 2 minutes and arrive at the subway, the only problem was the walls were fairly thin so I could here the person next to my room’s conversation. Other then that great hotel for a very low price, will definitely be returning!

This property is only suitable for a very specific clientele. It is not accessible by many transportation optioms and there is a $50 charge for early check-in. In my view, that's simply unacceptable - if the room is ready; then, the person should be checked in. There is no additional cost on the part of the hotel to prepare that room - it's just another rule to frustrate the customer. Also, there's no chair in the room nor a desk. So, if you're on business traveling this would not be an option. I think the specific clientele for this property is someone who doesn't want to get around much has business directly in that area and has no intention of using their laptop. So a very narrow audience for which this property would be appropriate. Otherwise I would spend the extra money go to some place that's more centrally located and; that way you can forgo the Uber cost for getting around.

This hotel was awesome. We needed a spot to stay because we were going to a concert in Brooklyn. Place was clean and the staff was amazing. They even had a door man that got the door for you. The room was clean and the bathroom was super nice. There was plenty of hot water and mini fridge came in handy. Will book again :)

Excellent location; the Bogart is near a lot of great bars and restaurants in East Williamsburg/Bushwick. It's not obvious that the reception desk is upstairs and around a corner when you enter the building. It would benefit from some signage. In general, it feels like they haven't quite finished putting the place together (which they may not have, as it just moved to this location). The check-in procedure was slow. Having to spell out my email address in particular felt a bit silly.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The building felt like the construction never finished (exposed wires, knob falling off in shower, unfinished edges on tile,etc) If you’re there just for a place to sleep highly recommend. The balcony was a huge plus.
