“Great ocean/ bay views, splendid location. A very nice place, good value!”

“This property is in a terrific location for leaving your car and walking around Newport or hopping on the (free) bus. Parking is difficult and expensive. The unit itself is hard to locate the first time because GPS maps don't seem to know about one-way streets.Once you find it, you will love it. The property is clean, spacious and well-stocked.”

“Perfect getaway! The location was perfect. Walking distance to all the cute shops, restaurants and cafe on Thames. Loved that it was just walking distance to the marina! I would absolutely love to go back again!”

“Great place at the opposite end of Thames St. 5 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Apartment accurately described. Matthew is a great host and extremely responsive. Will stay there again when I go back.”

“This is a wonderful property centrally located in downtown Newport. We had three couples in the house and it was great for us. The only real quirk is that one of the rooms does not have direct access to the bathroom upstairs so you have to walk through another bedroom to get there. But it was fine for us.”

“Great location”

“We had a wonderful stay celebrating a milestone birthday with our party of 3. The home was clean and spacious, close and walkable to shops, restaurants, and the wharfs. A quick Uber took us to the mansions and cliff walks. We would gladly return.”

“The place was overall clean and staff friendly, however we had issues that the front desk and maintenance only partially resolved for us. A big factor in booking this particular place was the jacuzzi. Upon check in, we quickly realized that our “ground” unit was not like the pictures on VRBO and if we knew this likely would have swayed our decision on the place (something I think the listing should make more clear). The jacuzzi bath was clogged (maintenance able to resolve that) and the……

“It was loud with the people upstairs but nice clean ! Parking a big plus”

“We loved this property, and its location. Was decorated beautifully and beds were very comfortable. Had a few minor hiccups that we had to contact property management, they acted very quickly and we were very pleased..”

“We were three women in town for the Gilded Age Tours. Enjoyed being able to walk to shops and restaurants. Great location!”

“Unfortunately, there seemed to be an animal in the attic scampering around and on the rainy day - created a smell. The unit is close to the beach and conveniently located. Check in/out was easy.”

“This house is very clean and beautifully decorated with modern amenities. The rooftop views were stunning. The proximity to downtown was perfect for walking or a short 3/4 minute Uber/Lyft ride. The listing states 2 king size beds however, there are 2 queens upstairs and 1 king downstairs. The 3 bathrooms were a huge plus with 5 ladies! The house is completely stocked with anything you should need. There are 4 total flights of steps, be mindful if you are staying in the top unit, you will need……

“We enjoyed our stay very much. Especially time in the pool and hot tub. It was wonderful to relax there after a day of sightseeing and walking!”

“I don't usually write negative reviews, but this one is deserved. First and foremost, there were many long black hairs on the walls of the shower; it appeared that it had not been cleaned. Furniture and furnishings were rickety and subpar, there was one hand towel and no face cloths, and bedding was mismatched and extremely mediocre. On the plus side, the location was great, and the kitchen is nice enough for a short stay, but overall, it's one of those pseudo-"renovated" places that wasn't……

“Clean, great location, easy access”

“This was our 2nd time staying with this host and we truly can’t say enough great things about her. Communication is off-the-charts excellent. She’s quick to respond and beyond accommodating. The only downside to the property is the water pressure in the showers, but totally fine compared to the ease of staying and level of comfort we have with this property and its host.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! Not only was the condo spotless, but it was also beautifully decorated. The towels were incredibly soft, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also loved that they provided everything you could possibly need. Beach towels, chairs, a wagon, books, games...you name it. The location was perfect, too! It was conveniently close to everything, and we loved being able to walk to the nearby restaurants and shops without having to worry about parking. It truly made us feel……
