“The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the……

“Felt completely deceived! I booked the hotel because of the large windows shown online, but the actual room had a tiny window and felt extremely cramped and depressing. Never coming back!”

“From the outside the building is lovely. The reception staff change shifts often, so some were friendly and helpful, others were more preoccupied. Our room was mostly clean. There was some dust on the table and some of the lamps were not working. It had two airconditioners but one was too loud to use. Some of the towels were fraying and my mattress squeezed loudly.”

“Very nice property and close to key areas in Newport. Didn’t like the bed which appeared to be a full bed and not a queen. In the particular room that I selected, the bathroom was down stairs. The stairs was one of the curled ones; very tight to navigate up and down. I have a bad knee which didn’t make it easier. Otherwise. We enjoyed our stay.”

“There were no amenities. One has to pay for the breakfast. There’s no coffee in the room. Everything in the place felt dated, but not quaint. No modern conveniences. The staff was very very nice, and I wished they had something much nicer to work with than their cluttered office and dingy rugs and dated furniture.”

“There were 5 of us. We could have used another bathroom. Not enough towels or toilet paper. While the staff was exceptional and the lobby and dining room was very clean and nice, I wouldn’t stay here again if I came with more than 2 people because of the bathroom situation.”
