“A charming inn with what seemed to be a fabulous restaurant on the main level… Regretfully, I did not have time to enjoy eating there. They open for breakfast at 8 AM but with the nearby ski slopes opening at 8:30, I did not take the time to eat on site. I did not recall reading that there was no elevator and all of the rooms are on the second and third floors… Mine was on the third floor. Something good to know in advance! Appreciated the refrigerator and comfortable though very intimate……

“Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. ”
