“The host was very welcoming and the property made you feel like it is your home. It's in a very quiet rural area. The house was clean and had such a cozy, relaxed vibe. It had all the amenities you would need. We played ping pong and basketball shootout in the basement. The cows even came up by the house to say hi! We were visiting our son at Purdue, it's an easy 30 minute drive to campus. 10/10 recommend this property to anyone, we will definitely be back. ”

“Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! ”

“The Cedar Lake Escape exceeded our expectations--offering a quiet retreat with a fantastic view!! Our large family was very comfortable, with plenty of space to spread out or be together. We enjoyed the firepit and the large selection of games provided, as well as a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Drew was a great host, he communicated thoroughly and responded promptly to messages. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.”

“This was the perfect place for my husband and I and another couple to enjoy a much needed R&R weekend. The place was amazing from a welcome email from Eric and Marisa with perfect instructions and brief videos to restaurant suggestions. The house was so cute and comfortable. Everything was labeled and if you forgot something, they had it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great place for a family vacation or just some friends needing some catching up. “We had a wonderful stay with our family who all met and stayed together for a wedding. ”

“The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.”
