“This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a kitchen area (as well as in the room) and an honesty bar. All are decorated to a 5-star standard. We ate at the local pub a short walk away along with other residents and had a very pleasant evening. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. “Prime location for central access. Had to bring our own cot as property does not provide them. Property fairly newly renovated, but lots of snagging required throughout the room, attention to detail needs refining (shower screen soiled with water marks, tap/shelf loose fittings, sealant coming away around the bathroom/bedroom, paint chips/marks over walls need touching up, balcony outside had soiled decking and furniture and faux plant/pots broken, wonky.
