"What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. "Pete's Place is in a beautiful and peaceful location nestled in the woods. We enjoyed the cabin and all it offered. The birds singing and coffee out on the deck was relaxing. "A nice location for a visit that was far too short. We were concerned about the distance away from amenities, particularly on a spring weekday night, but were in pressed by the offerings from local QVC. Next time we will stay for more than one night!"

"My wife and I and a friend spent nearly a week at Oyster Lodge mostly under completely blue skies and little wind. We enjoyed the privacy, the spa, the commercial gas stove, the huge kitchen, and oystering on the beach. The large propane grill was perfect for cooking oysters in the shell. We also went clamming at the nearby WDFW tidelands near Quilcene. The 100 steps down to the beach were a little challenging, but we all made it on several occasions. The house was very clean except for a sticky...

"Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will for sure return for another visit!"
