“Staff are excellent, food was great value, large portions and very tasty. Included Breakfast was great value. Room was clean and tidy. Only downside was the bed was very hard and uncomfortable for my wife and I. Great destination for a stopover during a journey or quick visit to Bamburgh and the surrounding area. ”

“I had a fantastic stay at The Bridges B&B. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly, which was lovely for someone, like me, travelling alone. The room was spotless with little touches such as different types of tea on offer and a chocolate treat on the bedside table. Breakfast was lovely too. It was a perfect location to explore the wonderful Northumberland area.”

“Fantastic Sunday lunch and great customer service. Upgraded to a junior suite which was very comfortable, lovely large bed, warm room, nice bathroom and great shower. Finished off with a great breakfast menu s d very good Northumbrian breakfast. ”

“The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again……

“Kindly allocated us a ground floor room when they noticed my husband had mobility issues. Room was spotless, food was excellent and all staff really friendly. Will certainly return for another visit”

“Loved the room it was nice and clean, the bed is very comfy too. Easy to find and check in. Loved the touch of the caramel bars next to the tea and coffee. Fast communication with the hotel contact. Would definitely stay again ”

“We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. A simple fix, but certainly worth it. I didn’t have much hope for the breakfast, not sure why, but it was……
