Evening desk clerk needs inter-personal skills
The breakfast was fine. We received a discount for parking from the hotel which was nice. The desk clerk on mornings and daytime was friendly and helpful, however upon arriving in the late afternoon the desk clerk was anything but welcoming and friendly.

The staff were really helpful and breakfast was fine but the hotel and room were a bit dated. The shower wasn't too strong and it was quite warm when we visited but only had a fan in the room. The pillows (which repeated in other towns) were too soft and uncomfortable. The hotel is really handy for the old town and museums. We walked to and from the train station. We also walked to the Nuremberg trials museum but the underground looks an easy alternative.

The decor in my room looked tired and out of date, but the room and bathroom were very clean, and everything worked as it should. The buffet breakfast was absolutely excellent, and all served in a nice, bright room.

Was welcoming and comfortable. Being an older property has charm that modern chain hotels can't match. If I can go to Nürnberg again, wouldn't think of staying any where else.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a good location. Helpful, friendly staff Excellent restaurant (I don't usually use hotel restaurants), really popular, so make sure you book for authentic food and atmosphere.

Pros: Breakfast was very good, and having the restaurant nearby was very convenient for when we were done sightseeing. Nice balcony, though the only view was into the breakfast patio (on the other hand, sleeping is usually the only thing I do while I am in the room). Good WiFi. Cons: No AC, like pretty much all of Europe; had to open the windows to cool it off at night. Hallways smelled weird, though the room did not.

A characterful place which is ideally located in the old town with close links to all public transport. I stayed in the middle of a heatwave. No aircon yet I was fine sleeping with the window open. I would imagine the place is very cosy during winter. The staff were all very welcoming; friendly and helpful.

Lovely comfortable hotel perfect for exploring
Lovely Franconian hotel - room was super comfortable, and the breakfast provided was very good. COVID protocols in place made my stay feel safe, but didn't feel overly intrusive. Great location too - perfect for exploring the old town, but also close to the station/transport hubs for further exploring. The only thing is that because it's an old building, the WIFI can be a little patchy.
