“Clean, affordable, close to restaurants and shops”

“I’ve never written a review for a hotel, but by chance someone is saved from being fooled by the 200+ positive reviews that HAVE to have been bought, here it is. This property is disgustingly dirty and atrociously dilapidated. The pictures you see on the listing are absolutely NOT accurate. The halls are filthy, doors with chips and dents all over. Carpet had holes and there are holes in the walls of the hallway. Paint is peeling everywhere. Our room had two large brown stains from a leak...

“Be warned, this property is falsely ranked as a 10 and is an Expedia recommendation but the hotel is horribly maintained and disgusting. Had we not arrived at 2am we would not have stayed. Lobby has water leaks in sealing and no elevator, Our room had cigarette burns and tears in the bedding, stains on all the pillows, lamp shades were busted, mold in the shower, bathroom was torn up like an animal was left inside, sink had not stopper and water pressure/fossette was so bad it sprayed...

“Convenient location to get around greater Knoxville. Felt safe in the immediate neighborhood. Quick walk across the street to coffee or just a short walk to KBrew. Great pizza at A Dopo for dinner. Easy drive to UT campus. Addressed a few concerns with host and she was quick to respond.”

The location was wonderful and the apartment was spotless! Hope put love into this place! We didn’t need for anything while we were there! “Place was perfect for our overnight stay while we were in town for a funeral. It was very conveniently located to where we needed to be. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The parking was a little confusing but we figured it out. We were in a mini van but I’m not sure a larger vehicle would have been able to navigate the alley. Would definitely use again if we were back in town.”

“Everything was great! The host was very responsive and helpful with accommodating any needs we had! The room was clean & cozy. It was also private and felt safe. They were willing to let two of our friends stay if needed as well (on an air mattress of course), despite the space being made more for only 2 guests, which was very helpful for us. We stayed for a UT football game, & it was about a 10-15 min drive !”
