“This was a very nice surprise stay. Beautiful old building, the Chapel is lovely. The white linen breakfast was first class...the Speak Easy food was great as well....the only thing I would suggest...a step up to the bed (for the old people)....it is very high off the floor and hard to navigate for someone older, however the bed was very comfortable. We had a great time speaking to the owner who was just so sweet. I would give the whole experience an 10 for sure.....”

“The hotel is obviously an older property, however it has been recently updated. The hotel was clean, quiet, and met all of our needs perfectly. We had no problems at the location, it was a good experience.

“You know those scenes in movies with a seedy motel room where the criminal hides out from the police. That was probably filmed here. There were barely patched holes in several of the walls. Kept wondering if I’d find roaches or a camera hiding out in one. Faucets were rickety and rusted. Bedding uncomfortable. Pillows covered in yellow, brown and orange stains. Also… what hot tub?
You hear everything happening outside, so good luck sleeping. This part of town is a bit shady. The staff……
