“It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it”

“With free parking area just opposite to hotel. Nice staff and room is clean. 5mins walk to supermarket. Sharing shower room and toilet are also clean, too. Peaceful to stay.”

“Hotel was really off route to mainland. Up the mountain (unless thats what youre looking for). The room was a bit rundown for me, but i think thats the character theyre going for. Very dim lighting. Hallway didnt have lights in the night so its pitch black if you wanted to walk out your room. I was using my phone flashlight to put my key in and lock on check out. We had lots of wasps outside our balcony so could not open window for fresh air at night since theres no AC or Fan, so a bit on the……

“Hotel Victoria is the best hotel I experienced in my honeymoon journey or even my life, super recommend! I book the hotel by mistake at firsts, since I was finding a hotel in Interlaken. However, I have no regret for staying there 2 nights. First, it is only 25 mins train to Interlaken. Second, this place (Meiringen) is a beautiful and peaceful place that not so many tourists noticed. The hotel is very close to Meiringen train station, about 2 mins walk.
