"The room was well laid out and very roomy for two people. We were woken in the night by the heating/air conditioning unit - very loud! And I was disappointed that the pool was closed in the morning when I got up to do my swimming exercise. Had booked the hotel in part because of the indoor pool-which was very inviting! But completely understand that pools need to be closed for maintenance or to keep users safe from contaminated water."

"What a wonderful and scenic stay! We had a lodge room with a beautiful view of the back lawn and surroundings bordering the creek. The staff was friendly, help and accommodating. The delicious cooked to order and delivered to the room hot breakfast was a cut above. The only quirk was Expedia's contact phone number for information does not go to the Inn but to a number with a full mailbox that won't answer or take a message. I highly recommend the Alaskan Inn and it's beautiful surroundings."
