“今回は車旅行だったし、クマ騒動で出歩くのも憚られたので、駅近という立地の良さは生かしきれませんでしたが、部屋は全室禁煙ということもあり、嫌な匂いもなく、清潔感ありました。晩御飯は、ホテル内で頂くことにしましたが、三千円くらいでちゃんとした御膳セットが食べられて、とってもリーズナブルなお値段だったので、同行の友人共々驚きました！”

“Warm bedroom and reliable hot water for showering in winter. Good for a night in Kakunodate, or more. Breakfast (if purchased when booking) was served in the guesthouse's Italian restaurant just beside. Thin walls though the other guests were considerate to minimise noise during my stay. The owner, Eiko, is a very easygoing and friendly lady. I regret I had to leave.”

“Das Haus ist sehr schön und groß. Es ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht, wenn man sich selbst verpflegen möchte. Das frisch zubereitete Essen mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten schmeckt hervorragend. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und behandeln einen nicht wie Hotelgäste, sondern wie Freunde. “We stayed here for one night. Overall it was ok. The room was small (standard japanese) and the bathroom and lining were good and clean. The only downside is that is quite far from the station (10 min taxi ride) but taxis are easy to find at the station. Breakfast was buffet style and it was good.”
