"The location was great. The check-in process was not good. We follow the instructions and the automated system was in Norwegian and we couldn’t understand what it was telling us. Thanks to a guest of the hotel who helped us get through the front door so we could check-in. Also the confirmation of the booking indicated that there would be breakfast delivered to our room, but nothing came for both mornings that we stayed. The room was good, but the bathroom was very hot and tiny."

I finally heard from the host and found out that the host had apparently canceled my booking and tried to reschedule it for the following week. This was not communicated to me previously. It left me stuck without a place to stay that night. I had to book a hotel room last minute. Luckily, vrbo reimbursed me. Not sure if the mistake was on the part of the host or vrbo, but the whole thing rattled me."

"We chose this apartment because it said it had a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, only the dryer was working. Given that we arrived late in the day, the prop manager did their best to help us to try to get the machine to work. Lesson learned- don't rely on the appliances. Otherwise, great location and nice courtyard balcony. Only complaint (besides the washer) were the stiff, musty towels- message to owner- please invest in new, better towels."
