Amazing Stay
Our two day stay in Palen Creek was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful, clean, and well prepared - Vikki and Peter have obviously put a lot of thought into going above and beyond for their guests. We loved every minute of it and can't wait to come back soon!

It was exceptionally clean and tidy. Tranquility was next level, stunning views, gorgeous little kangaroos around which was such a treat! Birdsong was all I could hear, a super relaxing place. The spa is placed in a fantastic location on the property with beautiful views all around. My only regret is not booking it for longer. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday.

I have to start by saying the listing does not accurately reflect the perfection of this place. The views, the facilities, the decks, bbq, and options of outdoor living spaces. The house is clearly a well loved family home fully equipped for all your needs. The beds are comfortable and the views are hard to take your eyes off. Beautiful country escape
A charming and relaxing getaway from the city. Super fun with the pool table, darts and hot tub. Beautifully quiet to hear all that the wildlife has to offer. Amazing views to kick back and watch the changing weather roll through. Thank you ever so much.

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway over the winter break. Quiet rural setting and only 90mins from the City. House has everything including an outdoor spa with an awesome view. The host Vikki responded straight away to any enquiries. Highly recommend the house for a winter retreat.

Top of the hill getaway
What a beautiful property, the sunsets, the wildlife and the peacefulness all deserve 5 stars. We had a wonderful time here and explored the beauties around the area, although the house had enough if you didn't want to leave it. Games room was used any moment we were home and the spa was there when we needed to relax and a little evening fire made everything perfect!

weekend gateaway at hilltop view palen creek
the place and view is amazing, relaxing and peaceful, a good break from the city. family had a great time. everyone likes the games room especially the pool. complete kitchen equipments provided (our family loves to cook a lot!) so we dont have to worry. Vikki is responsive to all our queries and concerns throughout our stay.

A great place to getaway from the busy life. Beautiful, calm and peaceful location.
Situated on a hilltop this scenic beautiful house and its surroundings are remarkable. Driveway from the valley leading to the house on hilltop is amazing. The house and the property are well maintained. The host was very responsive and friendly all the time. We (Me, wife and 5 kids) have enjoyed our stay and would like to recommend this place for all those want an escape to a scenic, beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy with your family / friends.

Stunning setting for a get away
A beautiful location, house and facilities with fantastic communication with host. The kitchen has everything you need and a beer on the back deck, or spa, at dusk is the perfect way to end the day. Great shower pressure and fun living space. We highly recommend staying here.

A piece of heaven on earth
Just what we needed…relaxing, peaceful, secluded, cozy warm fire on cold nights, refreshing hot spa overlooking the valley, excellent hosts … everything we needed and beautiful bird life and wildlife … possums, bandicoots, wallaby and baby joey etc we can’t wait to have another retreat here.

Relaxing escape
We had a beautiful weekend stay at Hilltop Hideaway. It was very picturesque and everything was so well organised and Vikki had thought of everything as far as the set up went. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub and even our little dog had a wonderful stay. We would definitely love to visit again soon.

Family getaway
The views are absolutely stunning at any time of the day, but our favorite was to enjoy the sunset from the spa pool after a day of hiking. The boys became totally obsessed with playing pool and spent many hours in the dedicated pool room away from their devices. The house is spacious, beautifully styled and had everything in it we needed (and even things we didn't know we needed). We loved the serene atmosphere of the street, with the occasional bellowing of neighboring cows in the background. This was the perfect place for our short holiday away from the daily hustle and bustle of our busy lives.
