Close to old Palm Springs. Classy. Comfortable.

Pros: Total accommodation. Low key. Wonderful gardens and trees. Grassy areas surrounding pool. Freestanding villas. Jasmine & bouganvilla everywhere.
We were there for quiet and leisure -- the Inn delivered. Melvyn's Restaurant takes you back to a more formal time when you dressed for dinner and expected to be treated royally with great food and memorable service. The live music was understated and added to the ambiance.

Wonderful old Palm Springs oasis

Great service from everyone, but particularly from Santos, who looked after us at breakfast and lunch: from Brian, Mark Mike, and especially Tenia (sp.?). in the Bar, and reception staff. Hotel is undergoing some room refurbishment, which will be great. Wonderful part of old Palm Springs. We'll be back.

The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely. I always feel like Frank Sinatra is going to walk by me at any moment.
Have been back many times, and stayed in different unique rooms. No room is the same. A very special place.

Thanks for the 4 stars. Melvyn's Restaurant hours of service are set for Summer. We are open for lunch 11:30am - 2:00pm and dinner served from 6:00pm

Classic hotel near town

Pros: Location & service.
Cons: Central air conditioning
Location: Excellent shopping and restaurants.
Great classic hotel with excellent service! Could use some updates like central air conditioning but the pool, bar & service made up for it.

Posted Apr 7, 2017 on HotelsVery quaint older style property. Rooms are definitely not modern but are nice. Great place if you want to relax . Probably better for an older group of people. You can sense the years of tradition here which was nice. Staff very helpful. Pool area was great and lots of birds flying around. This is the desert so there are some creatures that you would rather not see!
