Location good. Facilities fair. Room compact - yes small. Room has menu for room service which was not available not sure why advertise it if not available. But shops and restaurants nearby so back out we go. Only stayed one night as birthday surprise that was enough. Lovely lady on reception very helpful.

Very uncomfortable stay

Posted Sep 9, 2016
Pros: Newspapers magazines .Coffee tea was offered.
Cons: toilet repairs
Location: Actually the restaurants local food stores were very good with location to the metro made things better but this reminded me of a hostel.
The hotel although situated in a great location to the Metro stations and Gard du Nord was very difficult to find no explicit direction as it was in the Middle of Main stream restaurants that was ok but the noise was loud motorcycle noise all night cars parking honking off Farbourgh Blvd. The in room internet worked spotty at best and extremely unreliable. Most time you could log on in the lobby and maybe it would last a few hours. The room was entirely to small the hotel is old toilet ran the hotel needs to be torn down and rebuild to modern hotel standards.

The desk clerk at check in was very rude when we checked in, though the rest of the staff were nice. The shower is ENTIRELY unacceptable. Why is there a shower head at 4 feet high, in a room that you have to climb a two flight spiral staircase to get to. It can't possibly be for handicapped people, they can't get to the room.

Quiet little hotel in convenient location

Posted Jun 27, 2016
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Hair drier didn't work, a bit old looking
Location: Plenty of good places to eat and drink, waling distance from Stations and Le Marais
Clean and quiet rooms, not fancy but essential. 1 min from metro station, walking distance from Gare du Nord and in a nice area with lots of restaurants and bars. Great for location. Helpful staff.

Great location

The hotel was comfortable enough for our three night stay. The room was small but warm and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot, even though the bathroom was small. The hotel is within walking distance to Gare du Nord, and Poissoniere Metro stop. There are lots of nice local bakeries, bars and restaurants in the area. The hotel desk is manned 24 hours. A room at the back of the hotel will probably be quieter.

hotel was convenient to Gare de Nord, a bit of the main streets. lots of resturants around there and the reception staff were great for suggesting good places to eat. Shower was extremly small, but clean. Room didn't get cleaned one day, but reception was apologetic and got us clean towels etc right away. Noisey streets, but that's Paris!
